I know this is a year old but it really isn't good to bring new people here and I think there's a very simple reason. We have no idea how our kids lives will play out. We have no idea how they will die. Dying can be frightening and/or painful. It can also be long and drawn out. I've witnessed this with loved ones like my father who had cancer. An happiness we may get in our lives is always fleeting and there's always a possibility they may experience something horrific that causes pain, disability, and/or PTSD. It's not worth it in the end. It just seems so clear and I'll never understand people who don't see what I see. There's a lot more I could add but it's too much.
