I want to express my thanks for this video. I've been dealing with pain in my right rotator cuff for the last three months. I am basically pain free after adding this to my practice one week ago. Today I was able to complete flows without any shoulder weakness or pain. Much appreciated!

I am so greatful to you for this...Gratitute
I have had lots of success wth this program for shoulders / rotator cuff injuries. I will continue to do it every other day because it's working so well. Many thx. Karon
Hello, I am happy to hear this video is helping but avoid movements that may increase the pain. Here is a playlist I created for rotator cuff injuries: ua-cam.com/video/EOEGAcJmLRM/v-deo.html I recommend you look at it and practice the movements that make you feel better. Namaste 🙂
This is a great routine and very helpful Note that there are two ads back to back that are not skippable and I use this routine twice a week. Today I actually noticed two sets of ads. I don’t mind doing an exercise a bit longer, but some people might find it a bit intrusive.
Thank you for your kind words about the routine and for bringing up the issue with the ads. I understand how back-to-back, non-skippable ads can be disruptive, especially when you're in the middle of a workout. I want to clarify that I don't have direct control over the placement or frequency of ads that appear in the videos. UA-cam's algorithm determines this, and it's continuously testing various methods to balance user experience with monetization. The algorithm's primary goal is to keep viewers engaged on the platform, not to alienate them. So, it's possible that your experience with ads on this video could be different the next time you watch it. I appreciate your understanding and your continued support. Thank you for using the routine twice a week, and I hope it continues to be helpful for you!
Natsumi-san, ありがとうございます!I’ve been having horrible rotator cuff pain and this one really helped me a lot!! I’ll be doing this every other day. Thank you 🙏

"Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. I'm really glad to hear that the exercises have been helpful in managing your shoulder blade pain. Careful stretching can indeed be a crucial part of recovery, and it's wonderful to know that you're finding relief through the routine. Remember to continue listening to your body as you practice, and only move in ways that feel right for you. It's great that you're giving your body the time and attention it needs to heal. Wishing you continued progress and a speedy recovery. Take care and keep up the great work on your healing journey! Namaste 🙏"
I just want to say a big thank you for your dedication to this particular body part rehab I have now completed all three rotator cuff practices and I am finding them most helpful x🙏🏻x
Thank you! I’m 8 weeks post mid-shaft humeral fracture & my orthopod just revised my PT order from “assisted” to “unrestricted.” I want to use this yoga program to supplement the specific exercises prescribed by PT. I don’t want to overdo it but I’d like to carry on with yoga after my arm heals. My accident was a wake-up call that I’m not young anymore 😞 and I’d better get serious about improving my balance and strength.
First and foremost, congratulations on reaching this milestone in your recovery! It's wonderful to hear that you're moving towards unrestricted movement. Yoga can be a valuable addition to your rehabilitation routine, especially for enhancing balance and strength. However, it's important to remember to listen to your body and not push too hard too soon. Every body is unique, so it's essential to adapt yoga poses to suit your current abilities and avoid any strain on your healing arm. As you continue with your recovery and yoga practice, you may find that your strength and flexibility gradually improve. Remember, the journey to recovery is as much about patience and self-care as it is about physical exercise. Keep up the great work, and I wish you a smooth and steady recovery!
I’ve had a sore shoulder from Astanga yoga which has been aching at night. After doing these exercises I found it relieved the pain. Will keep doing. Thanks!

This was wonderful! Thank you so much for such a wonderful practice! I have a left rotator cuff injury which means I can't do my usual sport at the moment. Changing gears in my car hurts and everyday things like changing my shirt make my shoulder sore. This alongside my physio exercises has been so wonderful 🥰

Thank you for these videos. I started today and I already feel better. :) Do you recommend doing this sequence immediately followed by part 2? So around 30 minutes 3 times a week.
If it feels good, you may. But make sure to always include recovery time in your practice. Around 30 minutes 3 times a week is generally good. some [people may do more. However, keep in mind these exercises should make you feel better, never worse. Also, if you notice one exercise does not feel good, just bypass it. By the way, I have a part 3 to this series, so that you may vary your routine: ua-cam.com/video/yPh0M36cGhs/v-deo.html
@@fitYOGAfit Thank you very much for your reply! I injured my left shoulder lifting something heavy around two months ago and the pain won't go away. I started physical therapy but I didn't feel it was helping me. I believe yoga is my best option. Some of the exercises did hurt a bit today. I'll take your advice into consideration and skip the exercises that cause pain. :)
It all depends on your level of comfort with your current condition. I would look at it differently: Do only what feels good. Avoid any movement that could trigger pain. You don't want to "angry" the joint. Also, this yoga practice should be used only for general well-being and is not a medical treatment. Therefore, because your question could be medical, I always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to ensure a proper diagnosis before engaging in physical activity. Once it is determined, you may proceed with this yoga sequence; feel free to also check Yoga for Supraspinatus - Rotator Cuff Part 3 (ua-cam.com/video/yPh0M36cGhs/v-deo.html) Be well. Namaste.
Thank you for trusting me with your question. While I'm here to guide you through your yoga journey, I must remind you that I'm not qualified to give medical advice. Dealing with a rotator cuff injury requires professional medical attention to manage pain and heal properly. I encourage you to consult a healthcare provider for the best treatment options. Take care and focus on your recovery, so you can return to your practice safely when you're ready.
If you feel you could do more that day you may consider doing a second video. However you may need to take a day off the following day. An other option is to do one video per day for two days in a row and rest on the third day. Overall you should do what feels good and if a movement feels wrong, don't do it. Also, remember this is yoga and not physical therapy. Always consult a medical professional to assess if you can partake in any physical activity. Namaste.

Yes, you can definitely do this before your workout.
