She's so down to earth. A very talented actress who could probably be doing anything she wants right now, yet she's on UA-cam showing us something about everyday domestic life. love this.
Try a vacuum sealer for your bags rather than zip locks. It drastically can save you space in your freezer for more items, and preserves the food longer!! It was a game changer for me when I made the switch!
This is really timely advice.... I never thought of freezing hamburger meat in a puck and it’s a great idea! It will save space in the freezer and make defrosting faster. Thanks so much for continuing your videos, I simply love them. All the best!
Great tips, Mama!!!!! I triple bag my meats when I'm freezing them. ..I make sure they won't get freezer burn... I also do not thaw meat in the microwave either! I let mine thaw out in the refrigerator! Keep the videos coming! You guys stay safe, and much love!!!! You rock!!!!!!
LAURA, I'm not sure how or what you buy, but if a protein is on sale I buy more than we use at one time. Vacuum bags have been the way for us to go. The veggies, dry products like rice, nuts, flour, etc. can be washed and rinsed, I (shhhh) also reuse cheese with cheese; AND you can use those bags as "boil in a bag" so, for me and my family, they've safed us hundreds of dollars a year! Also, if plastic bags being thrown in the environment bothers you, vacuum seal with the plastic and glass, those can even be cleaned in a dishwasher to sanitize.
Welcome back, Laura....Hoping you and your family are safe and healthy. This is kind of cool.... I just finished binge watching OITNB and now I'm watching That 70's Show and now I can fill in between with your youtube channel. lol Take care and thanks for your tips. Peace.
Hi Laura, You were my favorite character on that 70s show..I like you on Orange is the new Black but I love the real you...you seem so down to earth..and the fact that you separate and freeze food just like we would makes me like you even more...ok..I know what I'm trying to say but it's not coming out right...lol..love your videos... ♡
Use stashables! They are made of silicone and seal up just like your plastic ones. Plus you can put them in the dishwasher. You buy them once and reuse them forever. Get the bigger freezer ones, most of them are snack size or sandwich bags.
drying rack for zip lock baggies, I need one. i sometimes put small loaves of rye bread in a gallon zip lock because i know that crappy cellophane isn’t going to keep my bread fresh. So the bag doesn’t really get dirty, i fold it and put it back in the box when the bread is gone. thats true of a lot of dry goods you are storing, or large chunky veggies.
so happy you’re back! you have no idea how helpful your videos are to me. i’m currently in the process of searching for a condo/apartment & the thought of prepping/making all my food alone is a bit scary. i love all your tips & how you make everything EASY. Thank you! Hope you are doing well! ❤️
Great video. I'm a big fan of that 70s show. I just found your channel. This is helpful for people that maybe starting out or just don't know how to freeze and prepare food.
Love that you're back Laura, something to look forward to while sheltering in place and working from home. Hoping you and your family are safe and healthy❤
thank you so much for everything you do to help us stay healthy. all of your tips and tricks are really saving a lot of us right now. love you so much🖤
Hoping that you could have Taylor Schilling as a guest in one of your video, I just missed seeing you two together (castmates)...like if you guys agree hehe... and thank you for all the knowledge I got on your contents, I really enjoyed it and its really good to see you back! 😁😅
When T7S was originally on, I was a huge fan of Jackie (with no idea that Mila was that young). When I started watching it again on Netflix, I really came to appreciate Donna and Laura's acting. The joke on the show was that Donna was sort of a big dork, but she was actually incredibly elegant.
I never knew how to defrost in cold water like that. I would usually just cook the frozen chicken. Thank you for what seems like basic information but still very informative, cause I had no idea.
I love you.I love your teachings and your new recipes.I am grateful for everything you taught me.Take care, okay.God protect you and your family.Kisses my queen.I love you so much.💋💋💞🇧🇷
there's something about her voice that just brings me back to that 70's show.
Probably because she sounds exactly the same lol
I never thought I'd be getting kitchen tips from Donna
She makes me so calm lol I love her

I really like this lady’s energy and vibe.

I use reusable silicone bags from amazon, they’re great for freezing or just for snacks on the go!
She has some great ideas.
You need a vacuum sealing food saver. I use one. But I like to add marinade into the mix.

Love from France ❤️❤️🥰🥰
Sending love from Canada!!!❤❤
I wash and dry my baggies too. For defrosting via microwave, to get it going, do it 10 seconds a side, flip over, repeat till soft; doesn't cook.
I LOVED
Great idea, that will be so much easier for me
