    Hi Logan, although the vacuum looks identical I've not found on the hose issue anything to put the vacuum on dawdle or seen any disk going around. What did happen when I put the canister back on the hose worked beautifully, as well as it does on the floor, which brings to mind I'm on tile floors so since you mentioned the right height adjustment I put mine on two from one just to see I'm playing around at present with it as it's new, on it's 3rd use, so your video is very helpful and appreciated.

    Any tips for how to lock the internal filter back into place? We were shaking the dust out of the yellow part that extends down and the upper filter portion came loose. Thanks!

  • @hazor777
    @hazor777 6 років тому +1

    IF the vacuum is blowing dust as it's sucking up MOST of the debris, make sure the soft filter pad is clean AND take some duct tape and seal the connection points (there's 2) where the bucket attatches to the body/frame of vacuum .
    I did this , and mine started working like a charm ..( it finally SUCKS !!!...instead of "it sucks" )

  • @Jay-Kaizo
    @Jay-Kaizo 5 років тому +1

    These vacuums are incredibly delicate. Putting it together brand new, I snapped a clip that hold the dust cup in. You can't just buy the clip either. Eureka sends you to a independent parts retailer online and you need to buy the entire setup which is like $40. For a part that you need to take off and dump out repeatedly, I would assume that it be made of something stronger than extremely thin plastic. That was all before I ever used it once. I bought a velcro strap to hold the dust cup in place and it somewhat works, but then after using the vacuum 5 times, it shuts off after 2 or 3 minutes of vacuuming. I'm not vacuuming up marbles or anything either. lol. Just the normal daily thing. Such a waste of money. Go with Hoover for a way better vacuum around the same price.

      Sounds like the seal is broken or missing. Check for a rubber seal where the canister and the body meet. If it's broken or missing either replace it with a generic, or call Eureka and see if they can sell you a replacement.

    I'm having a problem with my vacuum where it won't lean back and I don't know why.. what could be wrong and how do I fix it?

    • @DarienFRodriguezDirector
      @DarienFRodriguezDirector 8 років тому

      +Nicole Robinson The problem is with 2 Black tabs underneath the unit. They are jamming the ability for the handle release to allow the vacuum to lean back. Turn the unit upside down and examine the bottom just underneath/below the floor brush. Right around the wheel area if you look closely you will see 2 black tabs on hinges that rock back and forth. Those are blocking the unit from leaning back as the "MotorBall" section on the vacuum has to notched edges that stick out and catch these tabs. If the notches go too far past the rocking tabs, it will block the unit from leaning back. This happens when you hit the vacuum too hard against something or force the vacuum too hard to the upright position. My wife did this and it took me some time to figure this problem out. A long flat screwdriver can be used the pry the tabs back into place, or, you can pop them completely out, lean the vacuum back, then pop them back in again. Hope this helps!

    Mine was doing fine until it all of a sudden got really loud and vibrates at the foot pedal. The brushes and suction work just fine so I'm not sure what happened. My guess is I'm going to have to open it up.

    I got this brand new on Black Friday 30-35 bucks I think. I turned it on, and noticed the brushes were not spinning. After removing the 4 screws on the top of the vacuum. I was able to pry the bottom cover off, and sure enough there was a brand new belt laying in there and it was broke. I'm returning this piece of shit. I'll spend 100-150 on something decent.

    Where do I put water in my vacuum

    • @FAROFRESH
      @FAROFRESH 8 років тому +4

      +Amanda Palmer you're gonna wanna pour the water on to the end of the plug that goes into the wall socket and make sure that your wall socket gets at least 4ounces of water poured onto it and then go ahead and plug it in make sure that the vacuums power switch is turned on you're gonna want all that electricity flowing through the vacuum and through your hand into your body that will really do the trick. next you might want to consult a physician. you should also try a wet/dry vac or a shop vac if you're trying to suck up water.. another alternative would be mopping up the water.. you could also just try not putting water in your vacuum unless you enjoy being possibly electrocuted or just ruining your vacuums suction there is a good chance that a small amount of water being sucked into your vacuum won't hurt but putting water into your vacuum the question doesn't even make sense.

    • @Ca31_Buff

      +Amanda Palmer WATER!?!?!?!?!

    • @mikemichael7622
      @mikemichael7622 8 років тому +1

      Right in the event horizon. You can tell where this is with a few handy details: 1. notice light being bent and pulled into the abyss like aperture; 2. look for time and space being blended together like a nice tapioca pudding; And last but not least notice matter being compressed into a nearly infinitely dense mass! When you use these three handy dandy details you'll be sure to have found that wiley event horizon! Once located go ahead and proceed to the adding of water (or other water soluble liquids). Please note DO NOT ADD MORE THAN 978 TRILLION GALLONS! It's really easy to add a bit too much so remember to bring your universal measuring cup. Remember to have fun filling your vacuum with perfectly harmless water!
