I got one of these when I moved into my apartment nearly 7 years ago and it still works! I completely forgot that it came with the dusting brush attachment so I just looked and I found it in a closet! I just retired this vacuum for a Dyson DC-25.
Had 2 of these 1 in my old apartment years ago and bought 1 for my parents for their house. Worked good for a bit! But quickly became garbage. Since then I've spent a bit more and have been buying Hoover's which are best for the money being a cheaper machine over more expensive brands out there. The Windtunnel is one I'd recommend to anyone wanting a decent upright with good power.
I know it's been a few years since you did this review but someone just gave us one and my biggest issue is that when it's locked in an upright position the brush keeps rotating. Tried to burn my carpet! Even when using the hose the brush continues to roll. The speed of the brush is super fast!!! Can't seen to get much suction via the hose though...
One time we had the knob on tools and vacuum my whole living room and I got so upset that it didn’t pick up anything and then I tried to figure out why it didn’t and it was because of that knob
Eureka has really hit the pits with me for the simple reason of the belt burning it seems every time that I use the device. I am sure that it is not every time but it is close enough that when my last belt is used I will offer it up for the shooting range or maybe the smash room that has become pretty popular these days. I would hate to date myself in a review. With primary issue aside the upholstery stair attachment hardly has a draw to be effective and the main brushes continue while using the detachable hose therewith drawing power and providing the opportunity to burn the belts.
I found one of these in the trash recently and it had a dead motor, which is pretty self explanatory since the filter was 100% clogged(which is exactly what killed a Shark Navigator I found in the trash and a Dyson DC07 that used to belong to my parents) and the brush roll was locked up, completely shot, would not turn at all, and it was missing every single attachment, so I just saved the dust cup and made it into a succulent planter and threw the rest back in the garbage, where it belongs(screw you Electrolux!)
It's a tie between the Fantom Fury and Bissell PowerGlide Platinum. If I had to pick one, I'd likely pick the PowerGlide since I prefer bagged machines.
I have a eureka blue whirlwind with the dusting attachment and has all of its tools and I’ve been on the hunt for this eureka maybe we could trade I can give you my number and we can talk more about it if you’d like
It makes me sad that Eureka as a brand really went off the deep end. To making iconic machines like the F&G machines, ultras, roto matics, express's, bravos etc. ironic machines from the 40s to the very early 2000s to make the smart vac one of they're last good machine to now eureka fading off to relevancy and eureka as a brand just doesn't exist. Rip eureka.
Big rip, they turned from big bulky and reliable lasting vacuums to disgusting odd looking cordless and or disgusting corded vacuums. My family has this specific one, really dusty, and it can’t scoop up things like it used to, but the air suction thing is amazing

My biggest down side with my carpet cleaner is the clean tank doesn’t lock it just sits in. The dirty however does lock made that way.
I like how the hose on that matches with the cord the cyclone and the bottom

Did you check to see that the dial on the side is in tools mode? That could be why there's no suction.
@@IntellitechStudios yes ... Ty for replying.

Cool color scheme and at least it has adjustable height.
One time my dad had a dirt devil express and he broke the easy empty lid at the bottom! He thought it was stuck! Lol

i have the same model, problem is that it’s missing a power switch and it smells like it’s gonna explode. it works ok though
I put remote controlled disco lights, a bluetooth speaker and an security system on my Eureka.
I know this was 2 months ago, but do prefer bagged or bagless vacuums? Any brand you recommend? Thanks :)

Very few vacuuums have headlights these days.
My first vaccum had the headlights. Awesome!
I own one. The base broke after a couple days or months.
Reminds me of my Bissell power force compact vacuum.
That is why I'm getting rid of my PowerSpeed it is too light and it almost tipped
No no not the Powerspeed that's the cousin to the Airspeed and it'll do better it'll do better give him one more chance
What vacuum do you like most?
