I'm curious how you made the cross pin. Is it a square piece of stock with brass pins inserted on the ends?
The wooden pin has a through hole drilled in it so that brass pin goes completely through it.
How far down do you let the blade stick out of the bottom? Im about to start a woodworking journey and im trying to get all the tips i can. Thanks
The blade only projects a thousandth of an inch or so to take a shaving.
