Nice explanation! Though SDFGI is not always a no-brainer: it has a performance impact and can show artifacts in some cases. They’re working on a replacement for it that supposed to be more stable.
Brother, keep making more! I would pay for a horror tutorial for Godot. I've been itching for something like fears to fathom or Chilla's art styled games with low poly models
Unreal is more robust overall but way harder to learn and use. If you want to make games as a hobby there's no reason not to go for better UI and ease of use. Unity is more concerned with milking its userbase for money than making an actual game engine.
@@legiongames2400 Unity is a much better engine than Godot... no argument there. Better performance, ability to export cross-platform, better 3D, more robust 2D tools... and also cheaper than Godot if you want to export to consoles. Godot has some great ideas but it's not really on the path to compete yet...

Yeah you're right, I just haven't ran into any serious problems yet and I like using it in my games so I kinda let that bias seep through.
To the point, step by step, perfection. No bullsht, no fluff. 10/10

for 3D, Unreal or Unity... Godot is so so far from them.
