Pantera need to take a page out of the Heaven And Hell (Black Sabbath) book and name themselves after a Pantera album - "Cowboys From Hell", "Far Beyond Driven", etc and it would be enough of a nod to Pantera without using the name.
1st thoughts are to write and release under the name Cowboys from Hell. Exactly the same as Heaven and Hell doing Sabbath stuff
Most Pantera lyrics are cool band names. Look around and you will see! We got caught up in that during band practice once. lol

I got my tattoo artist into Feared a year or so ago and he doesn't watch your stuff, just appreciates solid death metal. He still asks me whenever I see him when the next album is coming out. Svart is one of his favorite records now and a lot of those songs play in the shop regularly now!
I discovered Feared just before Covid hit in 2020, fell in love immediately and devoured the entire back catalogue. So I was so happy when that new song came out, and I really hope there’s more to come - Feared is AWESOME

@@MentatGhola I started to listen mdm in 1993-1994. Of Chaos and Eternal Night by Dark Tranquillity was my entry and I also think The Halo Effect is rather mediocre. I only like 4 songs on their debut and both new songs suck.

Nice shirt! I had similar, I bought it from Haunted Made me do it tour at Jyväskylä Finland. Wore it to shreds but the memory still remains. Fun fact: the bass player got sick and could not perform. They played without bass, no problem 🤘

Oh how I miss my JCM 800. The master volume was acting up on mine when I solid it, too. (That's not why I sold it, though. It was a 100 watt head and I had, and still don't have any reason to have such a beast!)

A Pantera offshoot (or supergroup) would be cool, I'd like to see what kind of new music they'd make, not to mention also bringing in other musicians for features perhaps, maybe some that are fans of Pantera or knew the guys on a personal level that could contribute to some songs. I think it'd be nice to make a song as a tester to see if people would receive it well.
Far Beyond Driven is perfect for a Pantera offshoot if they do decide to start making new music again.

We would be blessed to have a super group with Zak and the remaining members of Pantera. I couldn't even begin to guess the drummer. I don't think they should even cover that many Pantera songs. I'd be more interested in what they come up with that's new. It would be like BLS meets one of Phil's projects; like early BLS attitude mixing with DOWN and Superjoint. Whatever songs come out of that group will be like the next party jams

I've been listening to Pantera everyday since '00. I know . I caught on late but still my favorite band ever. I've also been listening to BLS everyday since Dime passed. I would listen to a new Pantera album. And PLEASE CALL IT PANTERA!!! It would be like a dream coming true...... For me at least..
