did you really need to add the plugs? couldn't you rub the wires straight to the power source without the 4 prong plug since it is only a two wire strip? I ordered my lights and will do it this weekend. Your video showed me how easy it is. I was thinking of cutting the wire and connecting that way but yours is much cleaner.

What kind of adapter did you use at the end of the Led lights? You connected the Read and aBlack wires to an adapter, and then attached some kind of black wire to that… could you link the wires/adapter you used please?

Great video! Strongly considering replacing my K40 with this machine, but I have a minor hiccup. Due to humid summers and cold winters, keeping this in my uninsulated garage is a no go. Does it seem to disasemble easily enough to be carried sideways through a doorway? Thanks and keep up the good work!

I have this same machine. Saw this video, bought these lights and installed them. First time powering on, the motherboard fuse blew. Installed new motherboard, pulled old lights out and used the same cable to wire in new lights, worked for about five minutes, smelled burning plastic, and everything shut down again. Only the green circle on the power button and the cabinet fan work again. Why?

I've got the same machine. I need to make some slight adjustments to my bed to bring it coplaner to the head in the corners. On mine there are set screws on the gears on the screws but loosening them doesn't free them up from the leadscrew. Did you ever level your bed? I don't want to take the chain off to do it and even if you do that you can only move the screws to the next gear cog point.
