Tweez is so underrated. Yes Spiderland is a great album, but Tweez is as good. I love the screechy guitar sound and weird guitar lines. I wrote David Pajo once and asked him what his pedal setup was and he couldn't even remember. He somehow recreated the sound live without the same pedals. That guy wrote some interesting guitar lines. Slint has wonderful tension that I've heard in few other bands.
You know what, i wouldn't go apeshit, I'd rather stand in awe with jaw dropped lower than floor and eyes out and ears bleeding because of such awesomeness!!!
yes!!!! thank you!!! i soo would've been there if i didn't have a heroin appointment every few hours back then. Such a rad set....you said its not the entire set? but you got the goods atleast. One of my all time favorite bands, favorite cities, favorite venues
I know what you mean. Kinda sucks and kinda don't. Just made my appointment 30 min ago. What a life? 3k a month. Those who haven't experienced it, will never get it.
Yeah but that little extra bit that is actually structured is so good! I did find a couple of live recordings of the extended version since posting this also.
So the only way to show your appreciation is going insane? As the band focuses on music instead of heavily moving their bodies, I guess they won't mind the audience doing the same.
I've seen Tool, Primus and half a Slipknot gig in the last year. They were all great and at top of my 'to do'list. The Tool lightshow was worth the price of admission - just mind blowing!!! Have you seen any 'At the Drive-in' gigs? I reckon they have some similar parrelels to S.O.A.D. , but they are in now way a rip off band.
steve these headphones are fucked up

tweez is better actually
@@danielkillorin9742 Big Blacks "Pigpile" live album. METZ. For the softer more post-rock side, Tortoise. TNT is my favourite of theirs.
@@Polyfusia BETT
@@adriaticvenetians ehhhhh, Glenn and Rhoda sound better in the re-recorded EP anyway
Singing and playing drums is on another level Britt is amazing. The whole band is but Britt is really laying it down.

God I love Ron
Thanks for the upload. I flew from Tokyo to see one of the GAMH shows but I don't think it was this night. Close enough, though.
Imagine being in your mid-thirties and having to play the songs you wrote as a teenager.
Imagine hearing those songs for the first time and finding out they were teenagers when they made it.
Many people wish they had that opportunity.
Weird thing to say, mate.
No one is forcing them to do anything lmao maybe it’s possible that they actually still enjoy playing those songs as much as we do hearing them???
they didn't have to. they could have disappeared.
wow
THANKS FOR UPLOAD. GREAT BAND -
SLINT

Loving the video, thanks for uploading!
Ever heard of Lucid Rivers?
you are everywhere.
Why did they never play the long version of Rhoda live?
Because 2 mins of it is just feedback
