Yew good vid mate 👍
Thanks heaps mate😁!
Love the video good tips to think about before fishing for surface fishing. But can you please show us your wading float I have made one from a boogie board but would like to see your one in more more detail please, cheers 🍻.
Cheers legend! I'm back in Exmouth now and my wading rig in Mandurah so can't show ya haha! Simply put its a laundry basket with a pool noodle around it and a lid! Very simple!
well done. I learnt something
Cheers! Great too hear mate!!👌🏽
Hey mate, do you know any good flats in Mandruah? I've tried near the bridge but there is too many small ones.
Appreciate the tips
I'm glad mate!😊
Hi mate, looking forward to chasing these over the next few months.. any chance for some tips on lure actions you prefer? I subd mate, look forward to watching more 👍🏻
Cheers legend!! If there a bit of chop I like the run the poppers as they are a bit more explosive and obvious! If it's glassy I like the subtle "walk the dog" action from stickbaits such as the sugarpens! Hope that helps mate!
Cheers for the vid best one I found on Mandurah whiting, have you tried South Yunderup way is it any good 👍
Cheers legend!! I find that Yunderup is good for catching large quantities of fish but not to often are they any bigger then 35 or even 30cm.
Great info there. Cheers bud I’m going to try the flats this season never tried before. Does tide have much affect on the bite?
Cheers mate! Tide can effect it a fair bit! They push up into the shallows to chase shrimp on an incoming tide👌🏽
Thanks guys.
hey mate just started up fishing for whiting on lures and i actually just started up my own channel, in your opinion what time of year is best for these fish
Sorry for the late reply mate! Definitely summer when the water is hot. Won't get them in winter down south👍🏼
I went down Estuary drive today and the bottom was super muddy, there were a ton of whiting around but they were tiny little things - nothing worth keeping
Try finding the sandy patches and wander a bit deeper for the big ones😉
you ever caught any at that first spot u went to? Great vid too mate 👍
Yeah mate, had my best ever sessions there with over 30 fish above 35cm in 1 and a half hours👏🏽
@@Salty_Horizons is there certain conditions and tides you need to fish? Tried there one windy arvo with a zx30 for an hour and caught nothing except blowies
Incoming tide mate on a calm day with hot weathet!👌🏽😊
Great video mate.
Cheers shaun!
Hi mate love the video where did you fish in this video
Is that Mandurah just past the cut
Yeah mate it is👌🏽

Yeah mate!
Any juvenile salmon around the flats atm? :o
Heaps mate!
