7:55 Using DirectX 11 is a huge mistake on any GPUs outside Nvidia. Make sure that if DirectX 12 is available in the game, or convert it with DXVK if possible.
would actually like to see thin and light chips designed with the NPU removed to instead allow for more gpu cores seeing how intel's processors are now modular in their design, more gpu cores could allow these chips to compete and completely eliminate the low end graphics card market with less power consumption
i got my zenbook duo 2024 120hz oled, ultra 7 155H & 16gb ram few days ago.. in the asus system setting app i put 8gb allocation to the arc GPU & the fan speed option to performance mode with the AC power and was able to play all games on high setting with few tweaks in graphics setting of the games which i couldn't believe a laptop without RTX can even do lol

good video. I hope this new gen with tiled chips means a better yield for Intel, so they could lower the OEM price and it could come down as a more affordable option, seen that it's not actually faster or significantly better than last gen in any shape. The only way I think this would be good is if it was a "cheaper" chipset. Also, does the NPU really handle graphics on Windows? I didn''t see anyone talking about it, and it would be good because the NPU is on the SoC tile, so it wouldn't need to off-handle processes to the GPU tile. Still, I think that it's sending the graphics tasks to the GPU, as well as sending most compute tasks to the CPU tile, instead of having good low power E-cores that could handle most stuff on the SoC tile.
Love the channel and content was wondering if you could make video in making a mini itx gaming pc devoted for running fighting games like the upcoming Tekken 8 ,street fighter 6,MK 1 etc.
Really Windows….. you went from full motion customizable desktops to removing them for no reason, now we get some wiggly bs? That was the trade off? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the laptop business people buy to impress other business people. It is good in usual office and surfing tasks, but then again you could do that with much cheaper laptop. You could use it for programming, if you not try to emulate heavy load on it. Reason - it is too thin and overheats easily . Same goes for gaming - after a while you would notice slowdowns. This you could see in this video too - temperature goes over 90 C and then FPS drop.
@@10CentWenty It does, but you do not notice it. 95 C is exactly the temperature where 4900 hs starts lowering the temperature and ramps up the fans in order to protect itself. If you could cool it to around 70-75 C with one of those fancy laptop coolers, you would notice significant improvement in FPS.
