His OPS as a catcher is 3rd all time among catchers, OPS+ is 2nd. And he won 3 gold gloves and was robbed of at least 1 more. Sounds like you're a big Phill Cuzzi fan if you're bringing up the postseason.

Or even better, Mariano Rivera who got 100%. What about all the first ballot black hall of famers like Ken Griffey Jr, Willie Mays, Bob Gibson, David Ortiz, Eddie Murray, Hank Aaron, Dave Winfield, Tony Gwynn, Willie McCovey, Reggie Jackson, Willie Stargell to name a few.
You explain how there are better players not inducted. Setting that to the side. What kind of ethnic diversity is there for these writers that vote? I e heard of writers that don’t even cover baseball and vote for the hall of fame. Let the fans vote. It’s the fans hall of fame. Not the writers
