How Fake Grass Is Installed And Cleaned

- Fake turf is a low-maintenance grass alternative used on golf courses, soccer fields, and even in private gardens. Easigrass is a synthetic-grass-installation company in the UK. The team uses a mixture of recycled polymers and yarns to create fake grass that looks and feels real. The company recommends maintaining and cleaning the grass twice a year. This includes power washing away the debris, which could actually look like applying green spray paint onto the existing grass.

How Fake Grass Is Installed And Cleaned - Навчання та стиль
I have honestly lost my mind in quarantine.i am watching it and laughing like a madman.
Where are you that you still have quarantine?
Wtf your still quarantined? Get out in the real world and stop wasting your own time.
I had covid twice and can have even third time because nothing was going on
You quarantined? 😂
That fake turf grass looks surprisingly realistic👍
Those of you who hate it are either hippies or too damn broke to even get it done, I have my whole front and back yard turfed out and it’s AMAZING!!!! I love it!!!!
Or we are capable of the simple task of growing a nice lawn, unlike you people.
I gave it a thought but if I want to dig to put anything in at a later time like a tree, swimming pool, or floating patio I feel like I'm just wasting money.
Omg this is amazing
At this rate we'll be chewing on plastic apples in twenty thousand years
Nice work
very nice, well done.
Satisfying!
Thanks!
I don't wanna put fake grass under my feet. 🤭
Fake grass has come a long way! Looks very realistic and its always green.
Charmingly 👍
Do you put nails and or what if there is a seem
Fun fact! Artificial grass is as hot as black asphalt in the sun! Burn your feet, or the dog's paws - fun for the whole family!
🤣 they left that part out. 🤘🏼
Most people that get fake grass are fake people probably got a selfie stick too
So funny. However, it does work well in malls. I've seen a mall with playground and fake grass it does work well compared to the real one.
Naw just a dog that pisses Xenomorph blood. The water hose can't keep up with the nitrogen burns.
Does it get hot?
Again this is art insider
I heard it get really hot in the Summer is that true
Yeah, it can get pretty hot. Theres also static. Of youre stood on it doing something that produces static then because youre not earthed as soon as you touch something that is earthed, ZAP.
Still, it's a lot less work than grass, and you can just wear shoes.
Cool
In Thneedville...
It looks handful.
I wonder how many chemicals and plastic are released into the soil and ends up in a water stream.
Hughes ! GOD said IT would be HUGE !
That seems like more work than natural grass
This stuff you don't have to cut though The lawn is always a certain length and you only have to have people deal with it twice a year instead of almost every weekend
Do you do your own yard work or do you hire people to come do it for you, like a landscape service? if you maintain it yourself, did you have to put in the grass from scratch or did you inherit an already well tended lawn? is your grass seed type or plug?
I ask because my mom bought our house with grass that grows by runner/plug and it looks just like this turf except in places near the shady trees. It's beautiful, lush, strong and vigorous. It even caught fire one summer but grew back even lusher. Required very little mowing to maintain, stayed near about 2-3 inches and rarely had any weeds because it was so thick and healthy. This was native grass and it's hard to find and expensive to buy.
Her new place had imported seed grass like you buy in bags at the Home Stores. no matter how much water and work they give, it kept dying in spots or dog damage from theirs and neighbors dog. They tried reseeding, but birds and squirrels joined the battle. Then found out both Dad and the dog were allergic to the newly seeded grass. So much effort goes into it just for drought to make all go up in dusty smoke. Weeds take root in the sparse places requiring preemergent treatments, just to keep it under control. water limitations just ruins all the effort, and you still gotta cut it because it keeps growing over 4-5 inches like... tall grass! Then rake or mulch the clippings, dethatch once a year to keep the roots health, and next spring overseed, for any sprigs that died during the winter... Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Money down the drain.
My own yard is nothing but a jumble of dandelion, plantain, clover and some prickly stuff that just blew in last year. not a blade of actual grass. Mowing is a mercy but looks worse than leaving it to look like a weedy meadow. Grass seed can't compete with the deeply rooting vigorous weed seeds blown in from the neighbors' yards. I tried. It failed. It's also on a slope so it's a pain to cut whether with a walk behind or a riding mower. I don't water it cuz it's just weeds, but I also don't enjoy sitting in it cuz it's just prickly pokey weeds.
For all the effort that goes into putting in an artificial turf. I am sure I've already spent as much effort maintaining a pathetic patch of growth, and mosquito/flea haven multiple times over that I don't even get to enjoy by look or feel. I love the natural grass at my childhood home but it would cost as much or more to buy the plugs to do an entire yard and there is still a chance it might die on me before it gets established. Plus, I woulnt have to store and maintain, lawn mowers, edgers, or weedwackers, nor chemical weed products, fertilizers, antifungals, pest control products, outdoor irrigation( I don't anyway but...) or pay some company to do all that for me.
Artificial turn requires raking up leaves and things that fall onto it occasionally. and watering once in a while if it gets hot when you want to walk or play on it. seems like a big trade off. It seems like it'd be worth the trouble to enjoy the spacea and not feel burdened with yard care. I'd rather spend that time growing potted plants , bushes, flowers and things to beautify the yard even more.
@@shadowsoulless6227 Again, low maintenance plants could replace all your grass.
@@Metqa Low maintenace plants or wildflowers could have replaced your grass. Much cheaper than fake turf.
Fake grass is a great alternative, but how long does it last? and is it even recyclable?
yes
with the amount of money you'd save on lawn care, seems worth it. sadly turf if frowned upon in majority of places in USA and i doubt homeowner associations would allow it, or at very least you'd be made fun of by your neighbors but hey. I don't want to spent what little time i have on weekends mowing every week and dealing with all the other maintenance needed and it likely pays itself off.
Low maintenance plants (like wildflowers) is a cheap alternative to a lawn.
Apparently growing grass is a lost art in the U.K.? Here's the recipe... Dirt, grass seed, water, sun.
WATER? DAMN IT
SUN! DAM IT 😔
Our small cottage garden doesn’t get sun in certain areas so the grass keeps dying. I’ve seeded, relaid the lawn and seeded again but it keeps dying. We have also had a company come and feed it but it never helped. This is why we have made the decision this year to remove it and have artificial grass installed.
@@ninjascoob Or, you could have planted low-maintenance plants. Much cheaper than fake grass.
@@DDD11239 but then nowhere for my daughter to play as it would just be plant pots everywhere. Trust me we considered all options and are glad we went with the fake grass 👍
Would HOT Florida sun turn it blue?
We have just had some artificial grass installed and the people laying it told us that adding sand over the top of the grass makes it smell and blocks it from draining.
I'd do it if I had the money. Probably feels go on the feet and you never have to cut it. 👍🏻
So if you have a shady yard where it's hard to grow grass this would be perfect.
This would be good for the desert instead of using water.
Desert? Its made of synthetic polymer and it will get BURNING hot like asphalt!!
Hello
Is it me you're looking for?
1:06 guy kinda cute.
@ me about his wife and kids, and im gonna lose it😂
This gave me Vivarium vibe
Seems like it'd be easier to buy a few yards of topsoil, sow some grass seed and then add water.
But the upkeep. Weekly mowing. Fertilizing. Treating weeds. Etc.
@@a_noelle8595 Mmmm, good point.
@@a_noelle8595 but then what do you do when the grass starts growing back underneath the fake grass
@@meganm3270 I don't know. Would grass regrow of it was removed? 🤔 My yard was clay before sod was added. I don't think grass would grow if the sod was removed.
A fake grass that needs more maintenance than the real grass
You're kidding me right? A real lawn needs to be cut just about every week.
Carpeting for your yard like that fake grass you can buy and put outside your RV to keep dirty from entering it!
Thank you, but i prefer natural grass. Its biodegradable.
Don’t get this on your front and back yard because if the summer sun hit it full blown it will make this really hot you can’t even walk or lay on it even the dogs feel the heat
You shouldn't lay on grass in the first place. Get a lawn chair.

Check local City ByLaws; as one can get a massive fine if installed in a Front Yard.

@@akhil6826 I don’t think so

What in the US is real?
This company is in the UK.
That chisel you're using you better knock those birds off before they fly off and hit you
That's actually pretty interesting
my dog now poops in the rocks because the fake grass is hot on his paws
Can’t imagine having my big Rottweiler peeing on that. I would think it would stink to high heaven.
If its summer time, your yard will be so hot you don't even want to go outside. Even if you have a kiddy pool or pool in your backyard. Not good for people who own dogs. Will smell like urine and poop, and will burn your dog foot. You need to clean it often with proper solution to get rid of the smell. No thanks! I prefer natural grass as its better. Yes, it doesn't conserve water, but with fake grass you still need to clean it. Natural grass it is good for animals and insects which are beneficial for our environment. We have so much plastic already. Now more grass. Leaking micro plastic down the drain.
It is the worst thing you will do to your yard/patio what ever.
Yup I’m that fake grass that everyone already knew
How much does it cost for a quarter acre 😂
Honestly, what is the point.
I would love to have this inside my bedroom

Its Not Fake Because it Grows.
Environmentalists in action.
Fake grass is bad for the environment.
You’re aware there’s an environmental trade off between natural and synthetic grasses, right? They each have benefits and drawbacks. It’s inaccurate to state things as you have without saying the rest because you’re only saying half the equation. And of course I’m going to assume you use no plastic products whatsoever, correct? Because that’s the primary environmental heartburn with synthetic grass-the carbon footprint in manufacturing it. You can’t be a hypocrite telling a small number of people who have synthetic grass they’re “bad for the environment” while actively contributing to plastic pollution yourself, on a daily basis. Grass is a one time purchase. The shit you buy isn’t. Hop down off your pedestal and do your homework before getting sanctimonious with the world.
@@fashiondiva6972 Could you elaborate this trade off you mentioned ? Just curious. I'm not keen of the fake grass idea, although I see that is practical and mistakenly beautiful
@@ulquiorracifer6706 as far as I can tell the trade-off would be you have to water real grass which means you waste water and with fake grass You don't have to water it or burn fossil fuels to cut it like real grass
This isn't art. This is stupid. Grow really grass. Better yet grow trees and hedges. Let the wildlife come. Enjoy viewing the wildlife. Not This artifical nonsense.
This is horrible! How is this legal? Insane
The dog urine really smells. I installed this and don't let my dog urinate on it. It will ruin it
IM THE 2ND COMMENTER! and also i clicked faster than a shark closing its mouth...
I feel like in 30years. All lawns will be replaced with this. Then slowly trees. Then we'll run out of oxygen n the world will look like Mars a century later..lol just a thought
Great, humans have figured out another way to neuter the earth just for our own convenience.
why not just put real grass
No thanks.
What's the point of all these? 🤣
Don't buy this fake grass these micro grasses end up in ocean and fish feed on them
Great, then YOU don’t buy synthetic grass🙄 You’re aware there’s an environmental trade off between natural and synthetic grasses, right? They each have benefits and drawbacks. It’s inaccurate to state things as you have without saying the rest because you’re only saying half the equation. And of course I’m going to assume you use no plastic products whatsoever, correct? Stop throwing your fake grass into the ocean then.
If you don’t know how to look after a lawn, don’t have one. They’re not the benchmark of a good garden. You can have something that is good for the environment and you, like clover turf or you can buy this crap and watch the birds and bees leave (the planet). Outdoor carpets like this are tacky and highly destructive. They also *will* need weeding, they *do* fade, they *do* get hot, they *do* get unhygienic and they *do* release microplastics into your soil and the water table. Your soil underneath will rot and you will likely affect your neighbour’s garden too. I am a gardener and whilst I’m not a massive fan of real grass lawns (because there are far better ways of using gardens in the 21st century) every plastic lawn I’ve come across has been a bad idea.
who else is from the middle east lmao
eat that turf. energy and matter is included instead grow natural grass. It will last forever no cleaning required
You lost me at it must be maintained and cleaned twice a year.
nevermind i'm the 8th one but listen to my joke :)
What joke ?
Booo!
Why are you promoting unsustainable lifestyle.
Awful stuff and an environmental nightmare, needs to be banned.
