  • Hand-pollinate your gourds! It's fun, relaxing, engrossing, and so worthwhile! In this video I explain why we call July "Sleep Deprivation Month". I show male and female flowers, and how we transfer the pollen. Don't be stubborn, like I was!

    Currently growing long handled dippers from real Gourdlandia seeds I received in the mail. I would love a video instructional on pruning!

      I also have a long handled dipper gourd my sin is going to try and make a banjo with! We are so excited and also interested in a tutorial for pruning

    Do you have any advice for growing large bushel basket gourds successfully? I'd love to see a video on it.

      It would pretty much be the same advice, but more so... as they need a bit longer on the vine. Full sun, really good soil, lots of space. Start them indoors (depending on your location). Bigger gourds need a bit more TLC.
