  • This is how you wire up your Corvette C7 Seats to retro fit them into your resto mod or classic. In this video I show you exactly what pins you need to supply power and ground to connect your power seats on any car. No wiring diagram needed, simply tapping into these wires you will power all of your power seat switches like the recline, slide forward and back etc. The only fuction i did not find was the heated seat function. This applies to 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I will also be uploading the process on how i installed / retro fitted these corvette seats in my chevelle which the process would be the same for any other classic car like any other camaro, gto, firebird etc. Driver seat, thick red, thick black, small red wire with white stripe. Passenger seat thick red, thick black and small brown with purple stripe.

How do you like the c7 seats in your Chevelle?

@@Stewies_Stuff I love them. They are very stiff by design for the corvettes but they LOOK excellent. I get compliments all the time on them as well.

What year C7 seats are these? The seat connector was different from 14-17 and 18-19. This looks like the connector in my 2019 seats but I want to confirm before I fry something.

They were 2017 if I recall correctly but although the connecter may differ. Even if you give the wrong ground or wrong power, the motors are pretty resiliant to shorts and won't fry as quick as one would think just give them quick power and quick ground during testing and if you see movement, you are kn the right track.

Did you wire it to the male connector or splice in behind the harness? Currently trying to install these seats into my C5 corvette

You can do either or, aslong as the wire is secure.

Thank you for the quick reply! I have the drivers in and working, is there only two wires (thick red and black) on the passenger side for power and ground?

Figured it out, small wire is brown on passenger side… red on drivers side

This does not work for any seat that came from a car with memory, where the memory module needs a canbus signal from the BCM to power up

    • @EddiesCustomsandRestorations

It does work. I been running these seats on my 1970 chevelle powered up this way for like 2 years now. I barely uploaded the video yes but it was old footage.

@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations then those seats don't have memory modules. Those are from a low end c7 1lt without driver memory. I have one right in front of me from a 3lt and it does not work. There is a different large memory module under the driver seat.

@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations This explains that the 1LT does not have memory so does not have the module that needs to be powered up by CAN.
