We need Catchers as an official class in Terraria ngl. Crafting stronger nets in the game will allow you to capture bosses that would fight for you until you get the Luminite Net, which lets you catch the Moon Lord himself.
When you fight WoF in eternity mode in Fargo Souls, you get 5 divine and hellstine crates each. Opening these have a small chance of giving you hardmode ores.

This guy cheated, you can't obtain meteorite gear unless you've already beaten the BoC/EoW, but he mentioned for the EoC fight that he was excited to see if he could catch a boss while wearing meteorite gear

U can only do mods in 1.3 and in 1.3 u only had to break an orb/heart to spawn a meteorite
