I think it looks great, I've been in this hobby for 40 years, and what I tell people that ask me how I have done something is practice and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. As long as you're happy with it.
Thank you. I am very pleased with how it turned out. We are always our own worst critics and can always pick out bits to do better. As long as I can say I did my best, then I'll be constantly learning along the way.
SpeedPaints are amazing. Very consistent. I do believe You should try a thicker layer. I had best results with thicker layers myself. IF You fear of pulling then hold the model horizontally.
My main concern was more with it running onto other areas that I had already painted (e.g. Down the legs). All in all, I was very happy with the result.
