  • Today we talk of something we believe to be God's will. To pave the road, and build a modest but sufficient Monastery for nuns of the contemplative life, particularly, a congregation following the rule of the discalced carmelites.
    Since this video was made, there have been other advances, which I will make known in a later video. If you are interested in finding out more and helping support the sisters, please reach out to:
    blessedvirginmaryofmountcarmel@gmail.com
    and we will send you donation information once we have everything set for it.

    A traditional Catholic friend of mine watched this video and was very glad she did. She is sure she has a calling to be a contemplative nun, and she's so hoping that Fr. Carlos will be able to create traditional monasteries. She emailed Fr. Carlos letting him know her interest. I'll be praying for her vocation.

    I am a wheel-chair warrior.. My weapon is my Rosary. I rrealize how important prrayers are. St. Theresa never left the convent.

    This is the best idea I've heard in a long time Father. Keep us informed! Most of the contemplatives in the U.S. have lost their vocations. I will pray.

    May God bless your efforts, Father! I will certainly add my prayers to your intention bc I really need contemplatives praying for the grace of conversions in my family, and hopefully vocations among my 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren!

    I've always thought that Tradition is sadly lacking contemplative orders. Just imagine a monastery/convent of zealous Cistercians/Carmelites/Carthusians and the good it would do for souls!

    Father Mateo would talk about The Apostolate of Suffering encouraging those bound down with age and sufferings to offer all for the reign of the Sacred Heart and the triumph of Marys Immaculate Heart! His promoting the Enthronement many years I can see materializing even stronger through these traditional contemplative nuns just like Saint Therese was.

      By the Apostolate of Suffering is meant that whatever our vocation is that we can offer these sufferings for the reign of Christ the King and Marys Immaculate Heart for the success of this contemplative Carmelite order. Thank you Father Zepada for planting the seeds!

    There seems to be an age limit for applications to female religious communities that isn't present for male communities. Over and over when I looked online I was blocked by the insistence that applicants be no older than 25 to 30. I don't understand why this is the case. Can't a man join the priesthood or a monastery even in his 50s? Please correct me if I am mistaken.

    I think this will flourish, once the plans come together!! I have been considering a contemplative vocation, but have been discouraged because there are none in the US!

      Please don’t be discouraged or put off a vocation because of location! It is not uncommon, tho not ideal, to have to travel to another country and indeed continent for a convent or seminary.

    May Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and all the saints of the Holy Order of the Carmelites, intercede for this beautiful intention, and send a lot abundantly of Carmelite priests, sisters and nuns, dear father..
    If you don’t mind Father, I have a question, and that is, can a priest can join the contemplative order?
    I’m curious about this question..

    So this has the approval of Bp. Pivarunas? This will be to start the monastery in the US for sisters who have a vocation to go there rather than travel to the other countries for their vocations?

    • @thecatholicwire
      @thecatholicwire  Місяць тому +5

      That is the intent. It is approved by the Bishop but certain conditions are still to be met

      @@thecatholicwire cool. That fills me with hope then that we can get approval for here in Europe so that our sisters don’t have to go to the US for their vocations as we don’t have any convents in Europe or the UK at all, although there are a couple of Carmelite sisters in Ireland, I believe.

    Visit the Benedicton monastery in. Gower,Missouri. Founder is incorrupt. She founded it in '70 to preserve the Traditional Mass and the habit. She was a nun before she founded it. The first incorrupt black nun in America.

    Bishop Lefebvre put contemplative in his missions. For the reasons you describe.prayerful strength

    • @ecopley9013
      @ecopley9013 Місяць тому

      But Bishop Lefebvre did not reject to dialogue with the devil by returning again and again to John Paul II and even accepting some modernist heresy himself. Read the May 8 Protocol Archbishop Lefebvre signed which is on sspxasia website. He never rejected the text. He retracted only because they would not give him a bishop in time. Compare it to Bishop Carmona's letter on CMRI website. Archbishop Lefebvre agreed even to accept the New Mass as a valid Mass and the "new sacraments" of the Vatican II era - some are invalid, even accepting Vatican II in the light of tradition (one priest suggested a fire is the only light of tradition for Vatican II). How tragically sad. A general council of the Catholic Church with a "Dogmatic Constitution" cannot err on faith or on morals. Listen to Fr Zepeda's recent talk about the Holy Ghost and you. There is no excuse for Monsignor Lefebvre to do such things. Even the missal used by sspx is the 1962 missal as they will not accept to have any missal from Pope Pius X, despite their name! He discouraged people from following the pope, instead he wanted them to follow him or follow "the spirit of the Society". This is not the faith. The Pope is still infallible, all true popes are. Heretics are outside the Church, each and every one of them no matter what kind of sheeps' clothing they wear.
