R1M content getting better and better 🤘
Now that your channel is gaining some serious traction you should consider a nice pelican case with foam shadows to hold all the cameras, SD cards and chargers. Open the case, look if everything is in it and Chuck it in the trailer. If you change cameras you can cut a square out and add new foam.
It’s funny, I started watching back when he was under 10k subscribers. I had thought he was more popular and was surprised how low his subs were. About time he’s getting the attention he deserves.

Chris, my 05 CBR1000RR in basically stock condition went 9.35 back in the day at Prostar with Ed Krawiec riding it, it surprised a lot of people back then! Nice runs!!

I was the first rider in idbl and xda the bike was killer I need to get another one I lost to teasley in round 6 but the cross plane motor has hell of torque 🤘🏼

Just got my ECu back . She took a little trip across the country to South Carolina and back to Vegas. I shipped on Wednesday and had it back by Saturday. Not bad at all!! You’re a mad scientist of motorcycle tuning!!!. I’m looking at chain and sprocket sets and some crazy expensive wheel bearings! Are they all $400 or more for ceramics?

Reason the CBR-1000RR-R is quick, it's a ridiculously oversquare bore/stroke ratio and gets it's power from stupid high revs. It's not going to be anywhere as torquey as the former Fireblade bikes. No idea what the gear ratios are on it, but probably super tall 1st gear and would be boiling clutches.
If anything, I'd like to see Chris adopt a RSV4 1100 Factory and set it up for drag. But, he's not tuning Euro ECU bikes yet.
@@exothermal.sprocket yes it's very over square. It would have to be regeared right out of the box because it runs over 100mph in first gear if I remember correctly. Brentuning can tune the RR-R. Not sure if other companies have been able to crack the ECU yet but Bren got nearly 210hp and I believe that was 93 octane
@@FullForce1972 Without changing the displacement, ever-increasing peak HP numbers means sacrificing power in the low and middle. Unless of course you're going to run variable cam timing and other fancy automotive-style technology which increases weight and parasitic loss, and complexity.
There's a limit to how oversquare you go, as valve sizes can get bigger and bigger, but the ability of an engine to ingest a mixture, completely fill a very large surface area (top of a large bore cylinder) in a very short time (short stroke) and combust the mixture efficiently gets to be a crazy challenge, and a very peaky engine. The flame front from the spark to the edges of a large cylinder takes longer as well. A short stroke means inefficient application of downward force to the crankshaft in a very short duration of time. The actual force the engine makes is lower than longer stroke engines, but it does what it does more often (higher revs) equating to more work done in the same time. Engines are fascinating, but there's so many tradeoffs and compromises if you're only working with the same displacement.
OK Chris let's think outside the box here your next build APRILIA RSV4 RR that should be real interesting.

Chris you should try the CBR1000RR-R SP fireblade, we tried it here in Denmark, and the Yamaha and the Suzuki dident stand a chance, its Got 10-12 HP more than both of the other bikes, and at Stock wheelbase, it really put the power Down and going with almost no wheelie, and that comes from a Suzuki guy here, but that “New” Honda is really fast 😃🏍🏁
Does the new CBR have a new motor because the hondas are consistantly 20 to 25 wheel horsepower down from the other manufacturers on Moores dyno. There is a reason Chris hasnt taken Honda down the track because every other bike makes gobs more horsepower.

I'd like to see them do an R1M build alongside Extreme Creations, they did this with the previous gen R1 but I'm yet to see the current R1 having any forced induction mods.

So quick question chris, Im 6'5" 400lbs wanna build a busa drag bike once i get the funds. I do plan on putting on a 80 shot of nitrous. Probably going to be a gen one busa but if i come across the right deal maybe i can grab a gen 2. If i go gen one or even gen 2 for that matter, what supporting mods would i need for the engine? and what wheel base should i go to? I was thinking DME swing arm for a 75" wheelbase and their 4" lite adjustments. What would you recommend?

What does a 2023 ZX10R run with the same set up as the r1m?
I enjoy the videos, but I'm disappointed how he trashes kawasaki all the time . They finally got the ecu figured out and just abandoned the effort on the kaw . I had been planning on taking my zx14 down for a full dyno tune 🙄
