Awesome video. Question for you Chris, the R1-M comes with launch control. I was wondering why it wasn’t used for the runs. It can rev up to 9k. I was hoping to see it in action.

It's cool seeing the young kids. When I first started driving, I remember showing up to greer and seeing you on the back tire for the whole 1/8th never cracking the throttle. Then your brother would roll into the box on a pocket rocket. Haha. That was like 20 years ago.

Nah man 1/8 mile in my opinion is harder and more interesting, comes down more to reaction time traction on launch and so forth especially on a short wheel based bike. Love the content man keep it up!

@@TeamMooreMafia Tenfo… question for you… y’all did the tune on my gen 3 busa and I was wondering if I could send it back to get rid of the 5000 rpm cut off on the burble or at least lower the cut to like 3000 rpm’s??? you pretty much have to be around 7000 rpm’s to catch more then a couple pops before it reaches the 5000 rpm cut off and 7000 rpm’s is flying less you’re on the interstate…

Where the Yamaha r1m shines is in a road circuit. That’s what she was built and designed for, just a upgrade one brake pads and brake fluid a 520 conversion kit exhaust system and tune. Absolute weapon.
