Something I did on Geonosis was to attack the Walker with my ion shots and use my vehicle turret to kill them got crazy amount of Battle Points like 20,000 at the end of the match.
Or you could just enjoy the game and have 10,000 BP in the third phase then play as a hero two or three times in a row. Certainly had happened to me. Also, play the objective.
I’m really mad they nerfed the officer because the thing is I don’t care that much for battle points because if I get a hero it’s cool but if I don’t I don’t really care. I just liked because when using the blurrg with explosive shot and more shots per burst, in my opinion it’s one of the best close ranged guns in the game. Plus the officer has it’s heal card

for the heavy, on maps that you defend and have big vehicles, you should use the explosive sentery. you gain so many points by shooting with it on the vehicles.
@@ignaciovasquez8602 That used to be the case but since DICE tuned down the Ion Torpedo's damage, it also had the effect the of lowering the battle point gain per hit.
I recommend more the supercharged sentry because it does the most damage compared to other sentries and the more damage you do the more battle points you get. It also has a very short cooldown and you can kill heroes with it if you time it right.
I'm VERY surprised you didn't mention the following: HEAVY: "Defender" card gets points for each hit, INCLUDING each hit on your combat shield ;) Upgrade your shields health for crazy results.
It's still good in the tight corners.I already have a 35 level heavy with all purple cards and about 7 points for any cards,I got most of the useful sentries so I've been using the gas to help upgrade my assault,works great.
if you can get headshots with nt-242, you'll rack up battlepoints in no time. And trust me its quite easy to predict movement and they are some people who hardly move at all making an easy target. I'm always at the top with specialist on maps like geonosis. Your only enemy is the travel time which can be a little annoying but can be played around.
Yeah, every game I'm in there's at least two players on both sides abusing the glitch by hanging back at the spawn and locking out a hero slot for the entirety of the match. Not only that but while the rest of us have been competing to get our hands on Obi-Wan and painstakingly trying to level him up, these exploiters have been able to max him out in a single match.
Very useful video! You're so right, I find myself playing the Officer most of the time in order to get Heroes first, while that's not even my favourite class. I think Specialist can be really good when played correctly - you don't need to camp on the back and have a godlike aim to play him. Hardened infiltration is another (very viable) playstyle for him, combined with the **Resourceful** and **Bounty Hunter** Star Cards.
The stinger pistol really is underrated, also if you tag an enemy they appear as a red outline and it also makes people panic and easier for you to charge at them with the infiltration ability
Great tips. I do typically play Officer to get the heroes first, as it's usually the only way I can get play time with Obi-Wan in GA. I don't like it, though. I much prefer other classes. I'll give these load outs a try. Here's my tip: Playing the objective is also a great way to get BP. Launching the Ion Disrupters gives 500 BP, plus you get BP for the damage you cause to the vehicle. Even just standing the capture zone gives a lot of points. The lesson? PLAY THE OBJECTIVE!
I used to like assault for flanking and getting close to ennemies without getting nocited. But after leveling my specialist I just can't find myself playing as an assault, even at close range. You just got better utility for flanking and surviving.
@@jedigamerwinston9360 I'm more of the flanker type, I get behind ennemy lines, burst ennemies close to me, switch to my burst sniper to kill mid range ennemies and once they start reacting I try to draw them toward me while escaping with my shield. :D

Elmyr - absolutely! You can outscore officer doing this against the vehicle objectives. Also on maps where people jump in LAAT or LIUV straight away, just target them and reap the rewards!
My fave is sniper what I do for star cards I have my stinger pistol + stealth card + bounty hunter is good combo Second best for me is heavy with defend + smart grande + grande luncher fun combo
FOR ASSAULT: Ion Grenade, Bounty Hunter, Adrenaline Stim (Toughen Up). Rush up to the battlefront at the start of the game using Vanguard. Ion Grenade explodes when near any enemy and it's really great. If you toss it into a group you are guaranteed to deal a lot of damage and get quite a bit of BP. It will explode enemy turrets instantly as well, dealing extra damage to anyone nearby. It disables heavies' shields. It's great for defense and offense. Toughen Up to stay alive longer obviously and then you frag with your blaster and the ion grenade.
I just feel like the Specialist needs a battlepoint buff as I can be at the top of the leader board with more score and kills, and the officer below still gets the hero first

Helps playing the objective, especially to extend games in overtime. Constantly use infiltration (no need to use a starcard on infiltration btw) and snipe at medium to long range. Great vid. I use the assault class tactic all the time even before officers were nerfed because I hated how over powered they were. The acid launcher is one of my favourite and in my opinion under rated star cards.
Easy points earners IMO: Explosive sentry on AT-AT etc....over 1000 points per unload....and you get massive killstreaks aiming at chokepoints or clearing hallways afterwards. LIUV and speeder bike (OP as f) can get you massive points as well. Playing objective as in holding the dial is weak earner - it needs to be buffed imo, so more people do it and not raking kills somewhere. Deeds that should make you lose points or life: Standing in some doorway in hordes and shooting each others backs. Deploying shield other than protecting the one holding the dial. Especially you, Leia! And especially with Palpatine or flametroopers around. Spawning on sniper buddy and then stand in front of him and snipe yourself.
Unlike the 3rd comment,its better to adapt cards based on the phase and play the objective.Using yourself as support rather than focusing on killstreaks and stuff will help,and if your squad splits up just work with non squad mates and use squad as better spawns.Assault can manage to do offense and defense no matter the scenario but the Heavy is a vehicle killer and close quarters,so pick class based on map.Ergo,use specialist or assault on Craig unless your in the underground trenches or it's the 2nd and 3rd phass.Geonosis,if you can play it is great practice for assault and specialist especially on the first phase.
For the Assault Class: 1) Push AND defend the Objective. 2) Use the Killstreak Vangaurd, It is super good when contesting objectives as objectives are aminly small and people can be 1 or 2 shot by the vangaurd and the killstreak vangaurd's time increases per kill with it. 3) Use the Vanguard to get ahead and towards the objective as it increases your speed. 4) Use a setup your good with as that will help, so if your not good with one of the abilities change it via the starcards, so that you have an ability your good with.
Only issue with Toughen Up is that you wont have the scan dart to use paired with the acid launcher, probably best to stick with assault training or resourceful
I really love playing as an Assult with the A280, Bounty Hounter Card, Ion granade and tough up(hope this is its name) . But playing as the specialist with the NT242 and disrupter shot with bounty hounter is also very effectiv.
I use the A280 myself with assault,I dont use bounty hunter or boost cards except on heavy,for Assault I usually have a improved purple grenade,blue acid launcher and blue i forgot actually.

5:44 if you're watching this after November 2019, the stinger was nerf'd into oblivion. No more stacking damage, it ends when you die, and i think a considerable decrease in damage, and even possibly only one stung target at a time? too lazy to look up the patch notes but it sucks now.
What we need too to keep us from getting bored too with officers and other classes is MORE WEAPONS, I don’t even care if they copy and paste weapons from battlefront 1 without modifications any weapon is a great addition, using the default weapons in this game can be fun too especially with the Republic
Even with the nerf, the Officer is still beast. I only got the game about 2 weeks ago and I'm almost maxed out. Just a few more levels until 70. Note, I don't play that much at all!
@@CT--my4lf I think Toughen Up is better when you are constantly flanking and going behind ennemy lines. But if you use mid range weapons you'll be better off using the Scan Dart and the Survivalist starcards.

I actually used to run that Heavy Loadout. I switched cards thinking it was useless since it's just score and I was a delicious noob. Watching this helped a little. I used to be officer just for the Kylo Ren. It was pretty OP. Though I recently switched to heavy. My bounty hunter is now at level 3 of upgprading. Level 23 heavy. Any tips for leveling up faster when it's not double XP weekend?
Just playing the objective is really all I can say to level up! Get in amongst the action, even if you don't necessarily do well you'll be able to level up pretty fast!
I play a lot of assault with Bounty Hunter, Ion grande and toughen up and it gets me the first heroes maybe 40% of the time but now with everyone using officer for Kenobi and Grievous it’s just so much harder. I haven’t used scan dart in forever but I’m honestly willing to give it a try on close quarter maps bc I need those points and I don’t like playing officer
I’ve just heard of a spawning glitch where someone constantly spawns on someone and keeps getting points, don’t think it was a visual glitch cuz they’re score was rapidly going up and up
Yeah I have noticed if u use uncommon weapons u get more points with them! I love the smart iongreanade for instance, it fantastic against those peasky speeder bikes and turrets

I find that it determines what your favorite class to play is besides the Cheap Officers, on certain maps like Geonosis I go the Heavy(equip Vehicle turret and ion torpedo, and BP card) and I equip the DC-15LE for Republic, The Clankers I use First order heavy weapon, Assault is more close quarters so places like Naboo, Endor and Tatooine are great and the class is quite simple really, get good and get kills avoid big groups of enemy’s that will surround you instantly and heroes that’ll kill you instantly( unless you roll and troll them which is a bad idea) and you’ll be fine(equip thermal detonator, BP card, and Adrenaline stim) Specialist is a toughie cause I never play it much but when I do I focus on Sniping and when I can’t find anyone to shoot I just go assassin mode and start punching enemies(Infiltration with dmg reduction, Shield, and the Increased BP card) Officer....is a cheap class that camps spawn screens for heroes and doesn’t play objective unless their a serious player 😒

Heavy on big maps, Explosive sentry, Ion turrent, and mini missile on defense. Mini missile will give you about 200 pt per use on aircraft or vehicles, explosive sentry a bunch and ion will do the same thing. Only ever use the FWMBK or whatever it is. All the other guns are shit and will get you killed in a gun fight. Bounty if you don't want the ion. Same thing with on offense. On small maps, barrage, big impact grenade and bounty. FwmBK. Tl50 you might win a gun battle or two but overall you'll get melted. Assault toughen up and maxed out grenade. Never, ever use the SR2. it's complete trash. You might win every so often but not normall. Specialist personal shield, stealth and the infilitration which allows you to see enemies and same with your allies. You get alot of assist kills with that on. Rotate between the nt 242 and burst rifle on small and large maps. Generally use heavy for large maps anyways to be honest. Small maps go officer or assault. Specialist unless it's Crait or your on Offense on hoth don't use for points.
I ALWAYS play Acid + imp. Scandart + resourceful! Incredibly great to cause environmental disruption. While not killing many people directly your team will be able to absolutely crush them! Awesome that you mentioned it!
Everyone: Omg the officer is getting so boring. Getting those heroes first just ain’t worth it anymore. Need change. Me: *grinded specialist painfully to rank 23, ranked the heavy class up to rank 16 in a few long Capital Supremacy games, ranked up assault to rank 12, ranked up officer barely to rank 13. Rarely plays heroes because all my teammates either hero hog, are just that good, and even when I do I die instantly due to lack of experience and/or some skills as I got the game a couple weeks ago* Me: Well I have a long ways to go
Honestly, I just use the heavy class. Especially on Naboo (Capital Supremecy) just use the Ion Missile to destroy all of the vehicles while playing the objective as much as possible. You clear the streets of tanks and help your team get ahead. Main setup: Ion Missile Bounty Hunter Barrage
Call me old fashioned, but I just kill dudes and get the points and get the hero I want. No doubt you can get some freebies along way if you want. The simple version is... Scan Dart gives free points but also has tactical advantage. Heavies are anti-vehicle and stay alive well so you can get some good bonus points with those elements. Officers have their recharge thing going for them (don't be hatin' their probably legitly better than you). Specialists are simply beasts with the A280 cfe (w/ion shot and burst fire) and infiltration, so who cares about free points when you can kill easily at any distance and have anti-vehicle capability.
If I'm playing heavy and don't have to worry about vehicles I'll run Bounty Hunter, Defender and the improved shield card as you still get Defender points for taking hits to your shield so the more hits you can take the more you earn
on more open and/or vehicle heavy maps (kashyyyk, tatoonie, starkiller, crait, hoth, naboo, geonosis) you can run a sniper rifle with ion shot an focus vehicles. this will get you a ton of points. of course heavy also works, but your most effective tool will be on a cooldown.
Specialist is the best class in my opinion usually I win the race to Hero because of Infiltration the speed and seeing them on the radar is key and when it runs out the A280-CFE does the rest.
Use the a280-cfe for specialist on clone wars maps and always use ion shot, target the laat On any map where starfighters exist you can get rid of the pesky strafers by shooting at them as soon as they come for you, you not only rid the pesky strafer but earn 1000 battle points for killing a starfighter pilot, ion shot shows how weak starfighters are really
I just play well as assualt and get like 7 kills and do the objective and I’m always number one by like 700 score more then the second person. I always get the first hero most people don’t play that well
use the star card that gives you bonus play the objective i tend to only use officers and heavy. for heavy, i put a ion turret and the missile ion star cards and get a lot of points for using that. When I have to capture an objective, I use officer with shield and that gives me a lot of points even if I dont get many kills playing defensively Also, playing as a heavy gives you a lot of points destroying vehicles (very good on kashhyk and hoth)
as the heavy, utilise the exsplosive sentry card and on certain maps where you have to destroy something, they can be an extremly fast way to earn battlepoints. you can get up to 1000-1500 battlepoints each time the target is able to be damaged.
I could be wrong but I think that the defender star card only gives score. It’s just the way it’s worded. The description of the card only says you gain score, it doesn’t say you get battle points, but is also doesn’t say you don’t get any battle points. Best way to test would probably be to see the changes to the number underneath the crosshairs with and without the bounty hunter star card.
Specialist gets huge amounts if battlepoints, you can normally get more kills than other classes and get around 300 points per kill. Use the binoculars and go for ling range shots, easy points often gets me to first hero in the lobby.

Geonosis tip for Seperatists: Use the NT-242 with disruptor shot against the AT-TE's, I have gotten over 20,000 points from just doing that.
Have an officer right behind you with Blast Command and you will get even more! :D

On Crait, you will almost always get a hero first when shooting down those speeders with the ion shot/sentry using the Heavy.

Unlike the 3rd comment,its better to adapt cards based on the phase and play the objective.Using yourself as support rather than focusing on killstreaks and stuff will help,and if your squad splits up just work with non squad mates and use squad as better spawns.Assault can manage to do offense and defense no matter the scenario but the Heavy is a vehicle killer and close quarters,so pick class based on map.Ergo,use specialist or assault on Craig unless your in the underground trenches or it's the 2nd and 3rd phass.Geonosis,if you can play it is great practice for assault and specialist especially on the first phase.

100% truth
For the Assault Class:
1) Push AND defend the Objective.
2) Use the Killstreak Vangaurd, It is super good when contesting objectives as objectives are aminly small and people can be 1 or 2 shot by the vangaurd and the killstreak vangaurd's time increases per kill with it.
3) Use the Vanguard to get ahead and towards the objective as it increases your speed.
4) Use a setup your good with as that will help, so if your not good with one of the abilities change it via the starcards, so that you have an ability your good with.

Only issue with Toughen Up is that you wont have the scan dart to use paired with the acid launcher, probably best to stick with assault training or resourceful
I really love playing as an Assult with the A280, Bounty Hounter Card, Ion granade and tough up(hope this is its name) . But playing as the specialist with the NT242 and disrupter shot with bounty hounter is also very effectiv.
I use the A280 myself with assault,I dont use bounty hunter or boost cards except on heavy,for Assault I usually have a improved purple grenade,blue acid launcher and blue i forgot actually.

5:44 if you're watching this after November 2019, the stinger was nerf'd into oblivion. No more stacking damage, it ends when you die, and i think a considerable decrease in damage, and even possibly only one stung target at a time? too lazy to look up the patch notes but it sucks now.
Setup for specialist?
What we need too to keep us from getting bored too with officers and other classes is MORE WEAPONS, I don’t even care if they copy and paste weapons from battlefront 1 without modifications any weapon is a great addition, using the default weapons in this game can be fun too especially with the Republic
They need to make it to where you can mod the default weapons or make it to where you can upgrade its damage so you can use the dc-15a and get kills

All I do is get the assault class with bounty hunter card and I get kills so quick with the assault that I get battlepoint relatively easy
Even with the nerf, the Officer is still beast. I only got the game about 2 weeks ago and I'm almost maxed out. Just a few more levels until 70.

I would use year scan dart, but I find Toughen Up to be more useful.
@@CT--my4lf I think Toughen Up is better when you are constantly flanking and going behind ennemy lines. But if you use mid range weapons you'll be better off using the Scan Dart and the Survivalist starcards.

I actually used to run that Heavy Loadout. I switched cards thinking it was useless since it's just score and I was a delicious noob. Watching this helped a little. I used to be officer just for the Kylo Ren. It was pretty OP. Though I recently switched to heavy. My bounty hunter is now at level 3 of upgprading. Level 23 heavy. Any tips for leveling up faster when it's not double XP weekend?
Just playing the objective is really all I can say to level up! Get in amongst the action, even if you don't necessarily do well you'll be able to level up pretty fast!

Explosive sentry. Massive points thus XP on damaging AT-AT and holding off chokepoints as bonus. Other than that Heavy is weak - the guns are weak.

I play a lot of assault with Bounty Hunter, Ion grande and toughen up and it gets me the first heroes maybe 40% of the time but now with everyone using officer for Kenobi and Grievous it’s just so much harder. I haven’t used scan dart in forever but I’m honestly willing to give it a try on close quarter maps bc I need those points and I don’t like playing officer

I’ve just heard of a spawning glitch where someone constantly spawns on someone and keeps getting points, don’t think it was a visual glitch cuz they’re score was rapidly going up and up

I find that it determines what your favorite class to play is besides the Cheap Officers, on certain maps like Geonosis I go the Heavy(equip Vehicle turret and ion torpedo, and BP card) and I equip the DC-15LE for Republic, The Clankers I use First order heavy weapon,
Assault is more close quarters so places like Naboo, Endor and Tatooine are great and the class is quite simple really, get good and get kills avoid big groups of enemy’s that will surround you instantly and heroes that’ll kill you instantly( unless you roll and troll them which is a bad idea) and you’ll be fine(equip thermal detonator, BP card, and Adrenaline stim)
Specialist is a toughie cause I never play it much but when I do I focus on Sniping and when I can’t find anyone to shoot I just go assassin mode and start punching enemies(Infiltration with dmg reduction, Shield, and the Increased BP card)
Officer....is a cheap class that camps spawn screens for heroes and doesn’t play objective unless their a serious player 😒

Heavy on big maps, Explosive sentry, Ion turrent, and mini missile on defense. Mini missile will give you about 200 pt per use on aircraft or vehicles, explosive sentry a bunch and ion will do the same thing. Only ever use the FWMBK or whatever it is. All the other guns are shit and will get you killed in a gun fight. Bounty if you don't want the ion. Same thing with on offense.
On small maps, barrage, big impact grenade and bounty. FwmBK. Tl50 you might win a gun battle or two but overall you'll get melted.
Assault toughen up and maxed out grenade. Never, ever use the SR2. it's complete trash. You might win every so often but not normall.
Specialist personal shield, stealth and the infilitration which allows you to see enemies and same with your allies. You get alot of assist kills with that on. Rotate between the nt 242 and burst rifle on small and large maps.
Generally use heavy for large maps anyways to be honest. Small maps go officer or assault. Specialist unless it's Crait or your on Offense on hoth don't use for points.
I ALWAYS play Acid + imp. Scandart + resourceful! Incredibly great to cause environmental disruption. While not killing many people directly your team will be able to absolutely crush them! Awesome that you mentioned it!

Everyone: Omg the officer is getting so boring. Getting those heroes first just ain’t worth it anymore. Need change.
Me: *grinded specialist painfully to rank 23, ranked the heavy class up to rank 16 in a few long Capital Supremacy games, ranked up assault to rank 12, ranked up officer barely to rank 13. Rarely plays heroes because all my teammates either hero hog, are just that good, and even when I do I die instantly due to lack of experience and/or some skills as I got the game a couple weeks ago*

Honestly, I just use the heavy class. Especially on Naboo (Capital Supremecy) just use the Ion Missile to destroy all of the vehicles while playing the objective as much as possible. You clear the streets of tanks and help your team get ahead.
Main setup:

Hevy:you can get 600/700 bettlpoints by shooting paylod.

Call me old fashioned, but I just kill dudes and get the points and get the hero I want. No doubt you can get some freebies along way if you want. The simple version is... Scan Dart gives free points but also has tactical advantage. Heavies are anti-vehicle and stay alive well so you can get some good bonus points with those elements. Officers have their recharge thing going for them (don't be hatin' their probably legitly better than you). Specialists are simply beasts with the A280 cfe (w/ion shot and burst fire) and infiltration, so who cares about free points when you can kill easily at any distance and have anti-vehicle capability.
For Heavy I use, Bounty Hunter and Defender, plus the Improved Combat shield because when the shield gets hit, it counts towards defender points.
If I'm playing heavy and don't have to worry about vehicles I'll run Bounty Hunter, Defender and the improved shield card as you still get Defender points for taking hits to your shield so the more hits you can take the more you earn
on more open and/or vehicle heavy maps (kashyyyk, tatoonie, starkiller, crait, hoth, naboo, geonosis) you can run a sniper rifle with ion shot an focus vehicles. this will get you a ton of points. of course heavy also works, but your most effective tool will be on a cooldown.
Specialist is the best class in my opinion usually I win the race to Hero because of Infiltration the speed and seeing them on the radar is key and when it runs out the A280-CFE does the rest.
Use the a280-cfe for specialist on clone wars maps and always use ion shot, target the laat
On any map where starfighters exist you can get rid of the pesky strafers by shooting at them as soon as they come for you, you not only rid the pesky strafer but earn 1000 battle points for killing a starfighter pilot, ion shot shows how weak starfighters are really
I just play well as assualt and get like 7 kills and do the objective and I’m always number one by like 700 score more then the second person. I always get the first hero most people don’t play that well
2:47 see if that was gas you woudve taken barely any damage. But because that was a grenade, you get a kill, 250 plus BP, and an elimination.

i tend to only use officers and heavy. for heavy, i put a ion turret and the missile ion star cards and get a lot of points for using that. When I have to capture an objective, I use officer with shield and that gives me a lot of points even if I dont get many kills playing defensively
Also, playing as a heavy gives you a lot of points destroying vehicles (very good on kashhyk and hoth)
I don’t understand how people can get a hero literally a few seconds in a match. It’s completely baffling
as the heavy, utilise the exsplosive sentry card and on certain maps where you have to destroy something, they can be an extremly fast way to earn battlepoints. you can get up to 1000-1500 battlepoints each time the target is able to be damaged.
In Geonosis get the heavy class, plant turrets and fucked up the enemy vehicles, and please play the objective

Use the bounty hunter card and just practice aiming/strafing. I use assault or specialist and almost always get the hero first.
Noooo, I thought the scan dart was my little secret :-( Pair it with the upgraded scan dart star card and you get kill assists for dayzzz.
I could be wrong but I think that the defender star card only gives score. It’s just the way it’s worded. The description of the card only says you gain score, it doesn’t say you get battle points, but is also doesn’t say you don’t get any battle points. Best way to test would probably be to see the changes to the number underneath the crosshairs with and without the bounty hunter star card.
Specialist gets huge amounts if battlepoints, you can normally get more kills than other classes and get around 300 points per kill. Use the binoculars and go for ling range shots, easy points often gets me to first hero in the lobby.
it´s funny ´cause I have earned lots of points with specialist to the point of getting heroes but I never really know how, it just happens XD
