Unfortunately @@AnilAtluriWord I cannot. I use a Windows OS, not Mac so I wouldn't feel good suggesting a setup that I don't know works on Mac. I suggest looking up setups specifically for Mac. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thanks for the info, you did a good job of explaining the basics. However, you lost me when you used the Put On Path command. First, I'll bet you used the shift key to select the circle and the text, but you did not say how you selected both. When I select both and try to put the text(and it is text not a path) on the circle path, nothing happens.
I think I know what you may have forgotten (or maybe I didn't say?) as it is a common mistake. Firstly, you are correct. By holding Shift you can select multiple objects. However, if you want to Put On Path with text, you need to make sure that the circle is actually a path first. When you create a circle with the Circle & Eplipses tool, it is not a path. You can tell this by looking at the information bar at the bottom of the screen (below the colour swatches). Highlight/Select the object you want to put the text on and switch to your Select tool (if not already selected). Once you have take a look at the info bar. If it says 'Circle In Layer X', then you need to covert it into a path before Put On Path will work. You can do this by going to Path > Object To Path. This should then enable you to use the Put On Path command. Hope that helps my friend. If not, feel free to get in touch via email & I will walk you through it 😁
