  • In today's video I go over all the basics of using the Pen Tool & give examples on how to use each of the modes. This is probably the most commonly used tool in the application so a good knowledge of how to use it is essential. Next week, I will be uploading a follow up tutorial regarding the Node Tool which works hand-in-hand with the Pen Tool.

Great job. I'm looking forward to next week's video though. The node tool is quite difficult

Great Tutorial once again. I'd like to add a suggestion in that you should consider speaking at a faster rate. A regular speaking rate would be great!

      Thank you so much.
I usually talk quite fast, I am English after all lol but I make a point of talking slower so it is easier to follow. I had people telling me so in the past. Trying to get that middle ground is difficult but thank you for the advice. I will try harder in future

I have bad eyesight. Those lines the tool create are hard for me to see.

I understand what you mean. Do not fret though my friend, Inkscape has you covered. In the preferences you can edit the size of pretty much anything. I cannot say with certainty (Because I have never had to use it myself) that you can change the thickness of these lines but I assume you can because you can change the node size and/or the colour of the lines themselves.
From the tutorial point of view, where possible in future, I will thicken any lines that I use so I can make it easier for you to follow along. Hope this helps 😀

@@blackrookgaming Thank you so much ❤I love creating & want to share that passion with others. Due to Inkscape being free, there is no better way. I charge for my services as a graphic designer but I also love to teach, hence the creation of this channel. I am overjoyed that I can help people like yourself to become more creative. It is genuinely an honour. If you ever want to showcase your work, bad eyesight or not lol, please send them in and I will post it in a video with your links. Remember... #StayCreative
