Wow, GT7 sounds surprisingly more accurate than what people gives it credit for....ACC is still Sligh more accurate though thanks to its transmission whine noises
I have all 3 games. GT7 - playtime 400 hours and I’m done playing - good but cockpit view sucks. - it’s still Arcade-ish - FFB is decent but not great. - graphics are the best - this game is more about the career mode, online, and getting all the cars. Not a lot of replay ability once you have done everything. ACC - 100 hours ish.. don’t play much anymore - good for only one thing… GT3. - FFB is awesome. - sound is really good - only good for online multi, and offline GT championship. Due to only one class of car I hardly play. I’m a big F1 fan so this game is not really my cup of tea. AMS 2 - 600 hours and rising - the best FFB and feeling/handling - graphics almost as good as GT7 - sounds the best overall by far. - the amount of content in this game is insane.. (55 track locations with 90+ tracks) - historical tracks and cars (if you like any vintage F1, GT stuff you will love it) - custom championships allow replayability to the max. All F1 cars through the ages to 2023 so you can create custom season later with the same car and historical tracks, or take them on modern tracks. If GT racing is your thing, you can take Gt3 cars on Nordschleife unlike ACC. And create a custom Gt3 endurance championship which means you have ACC if you have AMs2… no need for ACC. - Le Mans is coming this year 2023… All 3 are good sims, but AMS2 is the only one I keep continually playing and overall.
I like how Polyphony put especial care to put the different tree species where they are on Monza instead of just 'Hey let's put some generic 3D trees here and there no one will notice if it's inaccurate or not', ACC got this as well too, only thing that's missing tho is Parthenocissus quinquefolia, the creeping plant that lives on the trunk of the trees. AMS2 creates an illusion that the trees are 3D but unfortunately they aren't very good 2D trees that throws me off a bit, and the coloring is weird as well.
I think AMS2 goes the extra step for overall accuracy, plus the trees and surrounding foliage completely change based on seasons/time of year. The Nordschleife looks totally different in the summer and winter time, for example.

I have no idea why AMS2 decided to go with the oldest version of the GTR GT3 for their latest update. It seems completely nonsensical, and it is handily outperformed by the other GT3 cars currently in the game.
I think it's a reused model from Project Cars 2. Which is fine, it's good that at least someone is getting use out of those assets with the PC franchise now dead.
Because AMS2 uses a previous generation of GTR, here is another onboard video to compare: ua-cam.com/video/Xi2YRj6gqBA/v-deo.html I love AMS2 and ACC so much, but also, I like the sound of the paddle shifter in GT7 (i didn't play with that).
In this case, in each game I did some testing laps first to see what times I can get and I knew that in Automobilista 2 I need to drive slightly slower, because lap time difference was +1 second compared to other games.
This comparision is not fair. 2018 vs 2015 GT-R GT3, very different car and a very different sound IRL. Vastly revised engine, different exhaust setup, different gearbox and so on. You should use the 2013-2015 car in all games.
@@MotoGamesTV Perhaps they said that because of the livery. AFAIK, last major update for that car was in 2015. The version that ran from 2013 to 2017 received EVO updates through its life, while the 2018 model was a brand new car. This is why this comparison is not very good IMO.
