    if I made up a clamp mould for a surfboard blank, would this foam using 2 A's and 2 B's be enough? and would it be dense enough once it is compressed in the mould, unable to expand any further, bearing in mind that any soft spots are not good for shaping and glassing surfboards.

    Might you know the maximum temp this mixture becomes and for approximately h ow long - when it sets? I have an app where I can see using this to fill voids (to help preventing rattling) in an interior car plastic panel. My concern is that this heat could distort the original shape of the interior panel. Do you know of any such similar products that have a lower cure temp.

It mentioned temps for storage of the chemicals, for ambient temperature when you are to use it, for material temperature for when you are to use it. • @ecfibreglassuk

    • @talatabo-quta843
      @talatabo-quta843 7 років тому

    I'm thinking of using this in industrial insulation But I need to know how much it expands, is there any mathematical equation I can use that relates the quantity with the volume ?

      It's not suitable as insulation, you need a higher density for that. 2kg of mix will produce 2 cubic feet of foam

      @@ecfibreglassuk is using compressed air would make it more dense ? in this case will 2 kg will always produce 2 cubic feet of foam or more? Thank you in advance

      @@amirabouzid4691 This is not sprayable. It's meant to be mixed and poured as in the video

    Can I know the names of part 1 and part 2 , and ratios for compound mixing, thank you

      @ecfibreglassuk  2 місяці тому

      Hi here is the link to the products you will also find technical and safety data sheets here www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.uk/pu-polyurethane-foam-liquid mixing ratio is typically :- Part 1 and Part 2 are mixed at a ratio of 1 to 1.06by volume, or preferably 1 to 1.2 by weight. However this ratio can vary between brands of PU products so it is best to check with your supplier first.

    hello sir is this foam open celled or close cell and can this be used in solar heater water tank?? thanks

    • @ecfibreglassuk
      @ecfibreglassuk  7 років тому +1

      Hi, this is a closed cell foam. You'd have to do some testing to see if it would be suitable for use as insulation in a water tank, but it should be fine. Have a look at the data sheet for more info, the manufacturer should be able to give more info
