I would be buying a YT Decoy Core 1 for my wife if it was in stock with the tax sale they have going today. If the Core 4's shock fit my Jeffsey I'd buy that and upgrade my shock and fork lol

2023 cube stereo hybrid 160 was on sale for £2699 recently. Snatched it through cycle to work so real cost to me is closer to £1700. Great deal
Yeah nice one! I got the action team 2024 for £4480 from £6999 160 version love it! It's back uo to £7k on some sites now I noticed just last night so things must be getting better in the cycle world!

I’ve just bought my son a brand new 2023 Trek Rail 5 eBike for £3k (RRP £5.1k)
Bosch CX motor, 625Wh battery, Shimano Deore gearing, Rockshox Deluxe+ shock and RS fork.
Got myself a new 2023 Rail 9.7 for £4.5k (RRP £6.5k)

Living in the US, getting spare parts for my Fantic Race 180 is only available through Ridewill, in Milan. It was nice to see them finally get featured, because they have some AMAZING DEALS if you look carefully.
I got a Specialised Turbo Levo Comp 2023 new with the cycle to work scheme for £3800. Amazing bike. Fox 36 forks feel good enough for my needs .
I bought a Raymon Hardray E4.0 in September for £1700. I've done nearly 1200 miles most of which have been done off road in all sorts of terrain and a lot of serious uphill climbing. The bike had been brilliant, only had to replace a chain, cassette and pads. An absolute bargain for an emtb 👍🏻
I got my Mondraker Thundra 2023 for 1999€, slapped my GX AXS on it and after a few issues with the motor (had to be exchnged) i am now very satisfied.

15:30, A few good deals for sure. I REALLY love my Giant '23 Stance EX E+... to me it just squeaks by as "affordable" if you buy new, but it's a super solid platform, looks good. Has been doing great so far with 2500km, and is getting good reviews by everyone else. Giant has a good network of vendors so you know parts and warranty won't be a hassle and they should be around for a while...watch out for them on the used market in a few years, nothing will beat that value.
I got a Raymon Fullray e150 11.0 in December. It’s brilliant. £3100 with epic spec.

The 2023 Orbea rise H20 is £3685 at a few places even better value than that H30!

I got a Haibike ALLMTN 4 2023 model. Was £4,899 reduced to £3,299 then Tredz give me a little more discount and I got it for £2,979 at the end. Colours look hit and miss on photos but looks really nice in the flesh combined with matching frame colour pedals and grips which were purchased separately.
Got a cube stereo hybrid 140 for £2850 a couple months back... '23 model so discounted a fair bit. Lots out there if you shop around.

@@embn Great foundation, with a lot of cheap bits on it! I'm happy enough as it got me on an eMTB and I can upgrade selectively when I feel the need, but leave consumables like drivetrain parts cheap and functional.
Lots of good deals on at the moment... Currently looking at a Trek Exe 9.5 or 9.7, orrrr A orbea Rise M20 and it's a very difficult choice

I’m one confusing is the whole uk 250w law? Most of the bikes you review are well over 250w from the sounds of it? Looking at websites online the bikes are shown as like 500w or 750w…. But the law in the uk says 250w is the highest or it’s classed as a moped/motorcycle.
Am I missing something here? All the bikes you show are useless in the UK?
My BaFang puts out 160Nm (1100 Wh Battery) and I easily ride 25 ish miles with 3-4K feet of climbing and still have 50% when I finally get to the parking lot!

Don't go for a hardtail eMTB if you are going to ride it on anything other than really smooth (paved or nearly paved) trails.
Unsuspended weight is BRUTAL on actual mtb trails - spend a little more and go full sus.

Sorry for the confusion! The first section of the show was the news, so brand new eBikes. If you watch the segment called "In Focus" that is where we looked at bikes for under £4000.

6000 is still a ridiculous for a push bike ffs... half that would be more realistic. 6k would buy you a lovely car or van. Crazy prices got ne thinking of making my own bike.

I have had a full fat and after riding it a couple years, I really felt like I was plowing over everything and lost a lot of my joy for it compared to my mtb. I sold it but am interested in the light power, partly because of the weight, but a lot more because they ride more similar to a bike. More playful, more poppy, etc.
Best thing to do is try one at your nearest Demo day or hire before you buy! That way you will be able to see if its for you 😁

trek fuel exe 9.5 $3500
Im sure its the 28th April this new UK Ebike law gets its decision made about this 500w motor and full throttle assistance to 15.5mph! 500w motors not really the way to go, 250w more than capable of reaching 30mph! It's a small speed increase we need from the 15.5mph limit to merged between and alongside traffic on UK crazy dodgem roads!
Some person doing a review on the new apparent "legal UK throttle assist ebike" on her channel for past 2 months with the certificates blurred out! something well dodgy there as the new law hasn't been decided yet she has 2 UK legal one's she's testing, Don't think so! Still illegal yet!
I pinned the new law info on the page saying it's still illegal at the moment no one can know this till end of April!, that was back in February! It's these people we don't need reviewing ebikes, it adds more to the bad name! I'm just waiting on the UK government saying "right they are now banned" like their doing in the US just now, alot states are banning them now just like that! Video's been uploaded to UA-cam with someone going around different stated showing all the Ebike banned signs up everywhere on road signs amd entering the country welcome signs etc world's gone to pot!
