I absolutely love Dina’s attitude and that she doesn’t base her decision on what others think. She is however a very moral and discerning person 🙌🏻
Anna Hovakimian nice joke
In all the years you’ve been on the internet as a blogger, you’ve always been such a REAL person. There’s something soooo genuine about you and thats super super rare, so please don’t quit 😩
The Blushing Giraffe i hope she quits i am glad, she is so irrelevant now, lost her community that supported her well that's what you get for .... now face the loss of the blessings the one👆gave you for what you did look at who supports her now
Part 2 yes!
Ramadan blogs are a must.. and I'm not even a Muslim bro. Just love watching x
Same
Wow!! That's awesome
Wow mashallah read into Islam
PLEASE DON'T QUIT 😭 I LOVE WATCHING YOU BUT IT'S YOUR CHOICE AND I'LL RESPECT IT IF YOU EVER DO IT
I rarely ever comment on UA-cam videos but I now realize how much of your comments you actually see and how they can really affect you... with that in mind, I just want to take a moment to express just how incredible I think you are. You strike me as a genuine, honest and just all around REAL person. I've been a viewer of your content since 2013 and honestly lol I get bored REAL quick of UA-camrs but your content never ceases to interest me. Thank you for doing what you do girl, and keep your head up
Suggestion for a new video: giving someone a makeover. Omg I'm dying to see that.😱 Love your style ❤❤❤
Give a homeless person a make over perhaps?
Are we getting RamaVlogs? I was sick last Ramadan and didn’t fast. I’m really looking forward to fasting this year & watching your vlogs after work! Xo
love love watching ramadan vlogs!
yh sure, u were sick for 1 month right!
I miss your sid and dina channel, your emails and advices, your lots perspective and challenges, Ramadan vlogs, outings and anything really, it was fun, haters gonna hate sod them, we love anything from you honestly, forget the hipsters and haters, they're hypocrites, the one's who love you will watch ANYTHING you upload. Literally. Alhumdulillah, may Allah SWT bless you and your family and make it easier for you to ignore the haters. x
Hijab is only a 'choice' when you are wearing it, once you take it off ,its suddenly not a choice (people start abusing you) so which is it?
The thing is, it's not really a choice as Muslims we are meant to wear it. However, the reason we say it is a choice is because no one can FORCE you to wear it. So yes, the Qur'an says we should but no one else has the right to tell us to do it. That's why there is some confusion :)
However in this day and age there are bigger things to worry about. I know women that wear the scarf and don't even pray, when prayer is our number one obligation!!! So in that case, it is a lot more important to pray than it is to wear a scarf as it is not on the same level. Hope that helps xx
@@clotr9217 i have read the comments some people are pure filth
What hypocrisy? She's been wearing a hijab most of her life before it even became a money making machine
@@AC-iw5mv thanks for that
It's true muslims actually backlash the most when someone takes it off by looking at them like they have bad character or something
_luvusi_ everything in life is a choice. people go back and forth in deen all the time, nobody’s always 100%.
Dina, honestly feel like you're a big sister to me. Keep going and your advice on religion has always been very well put. Only you know your faith, bless you and Sid ❤️❤️❤️
Dina, you're actually the inspiration behind my recent decision to officially revert to Islam. I will forever remember the day after my birthday, March 29, 2019, as the day I made the best decisiom of my life 😭💕💞.
MashAllah
That's beautiful! Glad you're happy and on a path that fulfills you spiritually. Ramdan Mubarak.
Idiot lol
Assalamu alaikum and congratulations. Welcome (back) to the faith.
@@cutiepiebb harsh - vay harsh and not needed
I love this girl. I don't care what she did she is human and will go through things. Reflection contemplation ate parts of the Deen and she's showing people that's it's a choice to wear hijab . And modesty can be found without a scarf covering every strand and inch of skin
Exactly! You are not a true believer if you blindly follow like sheep. Really well said, and it captures the essence of our beautiful faith.
Bring back q&a’s with Sid
Well said Dina! “You’re a believer even tho you doubt because you still have faith”
_You and Sid are getting divorced._
"Not that I know of. Sid?"
"Next week, mate."
😂😂
since no one is saying this
PART TWO PART TWO PART TWO PLS
Respect Dina. Respect. You're handling everything very well. Keep it up. Tabarakallah.
Alot of youtubers do compliments as assumptions you actually went far into it and honestly you've been authentic from the start.
Alot of these negative people giving you a hard time are miserable and downright pathetic. Being a Muslim or anything for that matter is a work in progress and a life long journey and you walk your own path in your own shoes. I just wish the haters would just focus on themselves a way better use of their time and energy. Anyhoo, sending you positive energy. You keep on doing you!
“I mean I really don’t got more energy to find another man” 😂😂
I absolutely love your vibe and how honest you are. Been watching for years now and i think there’s no one else like you in this space. Thank you ❤️
I genuinely believe that it's okay to ask questions in regards to your beliefs.
As long as your questions come from a sincere place of wanting to gain knowledge rather
than a place of doubt - I feel it's perfectly okay.
We’re neighbors in egypt! Been following what you do since the very beginning.. sending you prayers and positivity ♥️
The UGLY REACTION that everyone had towards Dina when she took off the hijab-has legit put me off wanting to wear one. I've never been a hijabi & I've been taking the religion more seriously over the last few years- started dressing more modestly & was finally at the stage where I was considering wearing the hijab- which in the west isn't easy cuz of the islamophobia. I was just about ready-ordered the underscarves, practised wearing & styling it in doors to get used to it etc. Then I saw Dina get crucified for taking it off & I was like wow theres no coming back from it, if I slip they'll come after me pitch forks & all. With islamophobic hate crimes threatening your safety on the one hand & your own community just waiting for you to slip to be able to strike you down- needless to say its set me back wanting to realistically put it own by ALOT. I hope one day I'll be able to build myself back to the place where Im ready to do this like I once was.
Don't wear that towel
@@jane1002 Oh fun! more tolerance & open mindedness ...lucky me
Jeanne towel? What do you call the Nun’s headwear??
Hi Nimrah- fortunately for me I didnt end up questioning Islam completely, but I do get where you're coming from. With me the struggle is just with public aspects of Islamic practise- cuz muslims are ready to demonize you publically the minute you do. I've made it clear that current muslims & Islamic culture are not to be confused with Islam the religion. That distinction helps me anchor my relationship with God-hopefully it'll help you too
Nimrah Khan pakistani killings are purely cultural, it’s actually forbidden in Islam! That’s why education is so important, to rid yourself from ignorance
I love when Dina just sits down and does a video answering questions or stuff like that. Do a part 2 please!
DINA I would love if you did a makeover series for women who want to dress modest yet stylish. I need that in my life!!!
LIKE if you want this too!
Abeda 95 And for older women! I’m 56 and would love makeup tips.
I can't get used to the premiere feature on UA-cam. I got excited there's a new video to watch, turns out I have to wait for 4 hours :( Still, I'm happy Dina's posting videos again.
Monika Morawska oh is this what happened, I wondered where it was!! Thanks x
Omg i love you Dina from the deepest part of my heart tbh i felt a bit awkward watching your videos lately but this video felt just like you and now i'm really happy ❤️❤️
Dina is my role model..... then and now!
I LOVE how honest you are !! Especially saying things like that you’re not too caring which should be perfectly normal and fair but for some reason I think most ppl wouldn’t have reacted that way
Tbh this headscarf drama has been dragging on for ages. Obviously many people would disagree with Ur choice of taking it of just as someone would disagree with putting the headscarf on. Do what u want to do. We should all move on from this petty subject and focus more on ourselves.
Yes!
There's no sincerity, it's like she doesn't even care about the Hijab and taking it off is no big deal. Not the straight path at all. Its a house of cards that is built on doubts and desires which is weakness.
@@jaskayy6590 then why are you in her page commenting? Don’t like her fine don’t watch her then.
That jersey and scarf combo is bomb🔥. Please can we get a look book vid this year pleeeeeeaaaseee🙏🏾
Nooooo I thought I would have some awesome content to watch during my lunch hour but it’s a premiere for 3 hours from now 😭
Was just tryina figure it out hun about how long it is just read ur comment x
Love how dina is getting on with answering the assumptions without wasting time and babbling on.
I honestly appreciate how real and down to earth she is, it doesn't matter what people say she's an incredible human
RAMDAN VLOGS FOR SUREE!! I love living Ramadan with you guys💖😍
my mother also took off her hijab because it got really hard for her since we live in Europe and sometimes she encounters racist people and also because of some other reasons that she did not mention when she told me. keep up the great work!!
@@contribution741 u clearly dont knw the difference between religion and culture. Maybe learn the difference before u hate on a religion.
@@SKhan-wp1uw totally... i'm sick to death of "everything bad about islam is culture" and "everything good about islam is the religion" yea...
Dina, as a young Muslim woman its great to hear you speak honestly about your relationship with the hijab. It helps us think, learn, search inwardly of our own intentions of wearing the hijab and whether it is honest or just for other people xx
Hi Dina so proud of you for doing you .when you took of your scarf off I was disgusted with the our community criticising you calling you sister Dina but then judging you .
I have been following you for 7 years now and I love the way that you are! You inspire me.
Do what makes you happy only Allah knows what's in everyone's heart and u can't please everyone really just please the people who are your loved ones... 💙💚💜💛
Ramadan vlogs plzzzzzz!!!!!
I don't think you should worry about your content, because I love your videos the most when it is just a rondom vlog where you just vlog your daily life and stuff. So yeah, keep up!! :))))
real lover same 🙌🏻
It did feel extremely awkward watching your latest videos but this one felt real again ...
Not sure if it was the scarf thing making you awkward but I feel you've found a sense of relief now
SAAAAME
“Do you really have faith or are you just a sheep?” ❤️
Best quote. 💯 agree. 😁
Yes, please make a part 2 🙌🏽🙌🏽
And maybe a video where you share your work-life experience ( I would say balance then you would say: "which balance?!) as a muslim in the modern with being online, marriage, kids and spirituality
Beautiful Dina please go back to "HIIIII GYUUUUSSSS" It's your trade mark lol, also would 100% buy a hoodie if it says that, always supporting you since the beginning and just letting you know that some of us here watch you because we consider you a friend and not to judge you or anything, LOVE YOU girl keep it up!
OMG so glad you mentioned Ramadan vlogs, bring them on! Because they really get me through. Seeing ya'll tired and also having to do life makes me feel like we're all in it together hahaha
Some of the assumptions are just so mean to Dina. I myself am a niqabi girl from Egypt n have been following Dina for years. The fact that she took her hijab off is just her own business n I still love n respect her so much. The fact that you cover yr hair doesn't make u a better person at all. LOVE YOU DINA ... I’ve been a subscriber for YEARSSSS Dina. Not awfully active in terms of comments but I’ve given a like to a lot of your videos that I’ve watched. I love your content, in any direction that it goes. I think it’s because I like you for you. Your humor and your way of being. 🤙🏽
Can you please do some content regarding ramadhan and kids, what you do to help them understand, eid prep, decorating, presents etc. Thanks! 😊
14 Dislikes before she's even started her video. Thats pure hating the person...not disagreeing with their views.

Agreed. 14 dislikes are from the people who piled on her and her husband. 😒

wishing you a blessed Ramadan, much love and duas. x
I love you Dina, wishing you and your family the most happiness ❤️
It is really helping "psychologically" to me at least to know that I am not the only one who had the hijab put on at the age of 11. No one understands the struggle of wearing it for so long that it becomes a part of ur identity and it is a BIG decision to take it off!
Hey Dina can you post an EID outfit book like the year before please it was awesome :)
Dina omg youve never hit a million? I find it so hard to believe!! Toy deserve so much more recognition! Well, i can say we all love u and will be with u and support u no matter what❤
So genuine and honest. Thank you for being you.
I too started wearing the hijab when I was 11, before menstruating and understanding the meaning behind hijab. I'm 23 now and only two weeks ago I took it off, and it feels like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you for giving me the courage to be me and to see myself and other people beyond their appearance and what they choose to wear.
D S Its compulsory to wear the hijab . It’s commanded by Allah swt in surah Nisa it shouldn’t be seen as a burden but more of an obligation prescribed to yourself by Allah swt. May Allah swt help you to see this .
@@AlishaKhan-ll7di She will find her way. You wouldn't be saying that if she never wore hijab. The headscarf is one part of hijab. Don't be so quick to judge. Faith is a struggle.
@@ameerahabdallah2416 you are the first guy in this comment section who has said its a choice 👏

hey Dina! sending lots of love your way! been a big fan of yours for quite a long time now. You and Sid have made me laugh so many times. I always look forward to your videos. Omg the sweater and turban... genious 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 i love it so much
same!!
i love your whole outlook on hijabs honestly. most people see it as a commitment but it doesn't have to be. like if you don't wear a hijab and you try to be modest, some days you're going to wear more revealing clothes than others, you're not gonna stick to just short sleeve or just long sleeve you know? it doesn't have to be a marriage to the hijab. it can star off as sometimes and if you end up keeping it on forever, then so be it
People are stupid to make horrible assumptions about someone get a life leave Dina alone live your own life
Please do a part 2!
"well, that's always the way isn't it..." 😂
You’re amazing Dina, don’t ever change your attitude xx
Literally one of my favourite fashion bloggers. Big inspiration ❤️❤️
Forget them fools, continue to do your thing girrrrl. People will pass their armchair judgements like it's their job, can't help that. Don't quit youtube!! :) I'd love to see more random everyday vlogs, seasonal shopping hauls showcasing on trend items, ask sid & dina questions, reviews of episodes or shows/movies you watch, more challenges between sid and you, sids cooking corner lol, video about songs you love and the times they remind you of in your life.. lol idk, don't quit youtubeeeee !! hah BYEEE * dina voice *
Stopped watching at: “literally just cloth, literally just hair” .. that’s not fair toward us girls who wear the hijab and toward Islam mainly because it’s not true. I’m sorry It’s more than just cloth or just hair there is a huge meaning behind it. I understand ur choice and views but don’t undermine the meaning and practice of wearing a hijab.
do you understand what "literally" means? you may imbue it with extra meaning.. BUT it LITERALLY is just a piece of cloth. that is what it LITERALLY is. sorry that words of have meanings.
You are a lovely person. Inside and out. May Allah bless you and you family.
can you give us a run down of your favourite places to shop, especially where to go if you are redoing your whole wardrobe! I need to discover the hidden gems of clothing stores
Im a revert. For years and years I lived a very stricht islamic life. For the most part I loved it, but a part og me felt that ny soul and personality was cruched under the weight of the expectation of bring a certain way. In the old days I judged you Dina for NOT being islamic enough (whatever that is😅), but now you give me hope that I can keep my beliefs and still be me! I Can incooperate both! This was after a point if me almost giving up. Food for thoughts. ❤️
Scarf no scarf I still watched ur videos but I did feel like without scarf you were being very casual like I don’t know how to say it but a lot using if accent in saying things and just very high pitched . It felt like you wanted to tell every one that you are happy and the backlash is not effecting u. Like u were proving a point. This is my personal opinion of how I felt . But today u were like old Dina very relaxed 🥰🥰🥰

That is the same thing with me. I prayed more after I took it off. I read Quran more frequently.

Shes lost so many subscribers
Hi, Dina! It's great to see you back online! 😊💖❤️

Noo please don’t quit youtube!!! We love you!! 💕
You know you’ve matured when drama, gossip and assumptions become “boring.” It’s simply just pointless and really says more about the person starting those things than the person they’re directing it to.
I had a women in my last semester of college who wore traditional Muslim clothes and head scarf... one day she came in and did not wear it. It made me think about you because i felt like maybe she was going through something similar to you. She wore it off and on mixing in the style she wore it, but a lot of the time she had it off. I wondered how she was feeling and knowing the backlash you got online i hopped she was not getting that from her family or friends. I asked her about it one day, this was a religion class we were in and i got to know her so i felt like i could, and she said for some reason she felt happier without it, but guilt when she didn't. It hurt my heart. For something that is supposed to be a choice it seems like it's not in some cases. She told me that when she knew her family would be in town she wore it and when they weren't she didn't. We went out to lunch after class one day and she said that she was thankful that i asked because a lot of people just look at her weird when they see her without her Hijab, saying that even non-Muslims look at her like she did something wrong. It really made me think a lot about what really is a choice and what is not... even in non-religious terms... in general. Trends and all of that, people especially younger people think if they don't have something they wont fit in... maybe air pods now a days lol or HECK even weddings. i got married recently and decided that we just wanted to elope alone... family went A-WALL. not happy about it and i thought... i get it your feelings are hurt, but it's my choice no? If i would have spent the insane amount of money on 1 night to put a show on for people... would i have been okay with that? no. i don't think so. I would have done something just so my family would have been happy at the end of the day. I think there is a lot to learn from this in everyone's life. What are REALLY choices and what are just external expectations?
