Great tutorial and tour of your car. Well spoken and explained of parts and modifications required to make fit. I'm in the process of picking out parts for my swap in my 65 Impala SS and stumbled on your video. Glad I did!
Absolutely, with the content on both of you guy's channel, I agree 100%. Just remember you make money when your doing what others are not. And what the people are seeking.
Luis Solis Yes is was tuned out when PCM was reprogrammed. Runs on 8 cylinders the whole time, full wrapped frame 10 batteries on 13s, no need to try and save gas on this tank lol
Brother you built a master piece, everything is tight trim and tucked, the paint, powder coating and chrome work look sharp, the LT swap is the best of all ☮️
Looks and sounds good bro. I'm still waiting on my chrome , I went ahead and upgraded all my suspension and bought boxed in and reinforced, I also ended up getting a Toyota rear end to handle my LS and also to tuck my wheels for my skirts. Cant wait to see your car done up and rolling bro.
Rocketman has the most complete informative LS swap video on the internet!! Thank You sir!! Timing is perfect as I have an LS3/6L80E out of a 2014 SS waiting patiently as I complete the sheetmetal work. Question: Have you checked your driveline angles? Curious as to has much adjustment is needed. A complete unknown for me right now. Thanks again for all your info given. A huge asset for us first time LS swappers!
James Smith huge complement, much appreciated! That’s one hell of an engine, you got 👍 So you brought up a great question, Mine is not 100% dialed in, The only part I did adjust a bit was the y bone because I had to give the the people that built my drive shaft 3 measurements. Dumped Ride height Locked up I didn’t like the angle that mine was at full lockup so I dialed it back some. Of course you want to dial in your driveline angle at ride height. Let me send you a link to a good video on here.
