i dont play the tcg, but whenever i watch your vids i love to see which cards i own. i have around 3,000 cards, but even still, theres a lot i dont have!
Honestly you could probably put every "Item/Trainer Lock" Vileplume in that Top Spot and it would be dead-on. The fact that the first variation of that(Dark Vileplume from the Team Rocket set) is the only card in Japan's Hall of Fame Format to bear the infamous 8/8 Stars rating...it's just that dang powerful an Effect.
Jungle Scyther is legitimately one of the few cards in the early sets that can straight up invalidate an opponent in the GBC games. Gene, the leader of the Rock Club in the first TCG game, *only* packs Fighting-types weak to grass, with the only mons in his deck able to hit for more than 30 being Dugtrio, Rhydon, and Golem. You can straight up make a deck of 4 Scythers and 56 grass energy if you want and you'll win 100% of the time. The absolute most you'll have to weather is a few energy removals before one of the Scythers gets fully online.
I’m so angry with UA-cam’s algorithm! I’ve been watching your YGO channel for years, and have been looking to watch videos about PTCG. I found this channel by mistake while UA-cam has been offering me hiking gear from IKEA
Vileplume from Undaunted was better. Given it had more reliable setup and a better partner. Vilegar is such a good deck, that it's viable in an unlimited format. Due to it's ability to stop your opponent from playing from turn one.

Shoutout to teal mask Ogerpon. That card is NASTY in current formats.
I spat my drink at that "Sycamore" pronunciation 😂

professor SIKE amor
Funny how now we have grand tree which is like super growth but on a ace spec stadium.
17:55 - slight correction G Booster discards 2 energies, not all energies. :)
Who knew bugs made for such good grass types
In the Pokemon TCG, Bug and Poison types are typically lumped with Grass, since there are less energy types.
@@TwoBitSpecialistpoison hasnt been grass for a long time
@nikzito2 I haven't played the TCG for a long time lol.

Part of me feels like this channel is an A.I. voice because there is no way you just pronounced Prof Sycamore like that
wait... how do you think its supposed to be pronounced?
@@monster3339it's like sick-a-more not sike-a-more
He mispronounces things on purpose for engagement; he can pronounce Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar flawlessly
@@monster3339 are you for real right now?
@@PunishedFelix i coulda sworn thats how he pronounced it. mustve misheard.
