Cory dynamic and timing reach my core of soul. He also a singer and knew how to put himself as singer by playing softer so Denis stay on the spot that way audience can get the message. Cory also following Denis dynamic wherever she is going. Be water my friend, be water.
    Amazing performance 🙏🏽

Musicians and singers if you feel discouraged by the following, you're not alone
    1. Cory's mastery of music and the organ
    2. SINGER'S AMAZING voice and technical singing.
    3. Sean's deep understanding of music theory and his sharp ears.
    😂😂😂 LET'S keep practicing.

I couldn't have said it better myself. To all the professional musicians who have second jobs such as myself now that we're grown and don't have quite enough time to get to that Corey henry level. Young musicians without a job should really be honing your skills while you have the time.

I was explaining this to a young musician just a few days ago.
Music starts in the soul. He was telling me how he wanted to be able to one day have certain kinds of instruments (very expensive kind) to help his talents. Told him, instruments and musical expression are two but linked things....sometimes.
A musician can express their thoughts by tapping on a table or humming. Told him to look up Bobby McFerrin. His whole body was his instrument. He saw some of Bobby McFerrin's stuff and was amazed. Told him that's a man with music in him who is using his voice and his body to express it. He got it.

Pure musical overload. I most certainly agree I don’t know which one to listen too. I’m glad you didn’t do a break down of this video, since there is simply too much goodness to break down. A break down of this video would have been very long. I’m inclined to believe that she must be a musician herself; because her voice sure sounds like an instrument.

As I listened, as an American, I was bitterly reminded that in this time in our nation's history, many black people have abandoned "the faith" for mere emotion. Seems sometimes, all were after is to feel something, rather than be moved to deeper devotion to the faith, by understanding more about the substance of that faith - namely Christ and his work on the cross. The "faith" that was once delivered to the saints is in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Him is where we find our peace, identity and meaning. "The Faith" is articulated in these words, that Christ died according to the scriptures, He who knew no sin became sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - that is, that we might be justified (declared righteous) in God's sight. Yet some have abandoned "The Faith" entirely, prefering to see social movement or "progress" over religious conversion to Christ as the end of "The Faith".
"The Faith", is my only hope, especially in a world blinded by sin, in a nation in the throws of civil unrest due to false narratives about the treatment of black people in America. These false narratives: that blacks are still being systematically disenfranchised and are victims of a racism throughout the nation, from police, the courts, government, etc, in spite of the great progress made since the civil rights movement of the 1960s. This is a lie. We are not victims. Nothing is holding you back but you. We are free, but only in so far we think we are free. If you believe you are a victim, you are not free and are trapped by a lie that will keep you from achieving your full potential and will leave you susceptible and vulnerable to the lies peddled by disingenuous actors (or victa-crats -- politicians that use apparent victimization to get votes) that want to exploit you to get political power and influence (BLM organization). They don't really care about black people in so far as they can be used a blunt to of force to enact whatever social change they're after - things very very far from agreeing with "THE FAITH".
I know as I write this, some black people are already in retreat mode thinking more about race (which is truly a social construct - merely an arbitrary term used to categorize human beings like we have done with the animal kingdom). There is one race - the human race. His death is sufficient for all humans, and if they believe, if you believe, you too can be free. Free to live in Him, transcending your own prejudice, bitterness towards those who've wronged you, free to forgive those who've hurt you and live in a way that will bring glory to God and good to all peoples. Free to not blame others for your own failure. Free to forgive family who have failed you, because in spite of their failure, God has not failed you.

In other words, although your words were truth, the world needs the Love of Christ.. the bible speaks on a great turning away of the church.. how people won't be able to endure sound doctrine... I don't care for all the political talk and I stay out of it because all of it is a weapon of satan to keep people focused on man, rather than on Christ.

Ok OK OK This is Cory and Denise!! True black American Organ Playing! Our playing comes from our culture! As French speaker we were introduced to organ by French Catholic church music! I am sure if I am asked to comp on Denise, I will miss a lot of passing chords, because of my culture! French contemporary music just go from chord to chords!!A Good Nigerian-Ghanaian organist will do better, a South-African organist will do ever better! It's all about Culture+Harmony
