I’ve played every raid in Destiny 1 and 2. This was the most breathtaking moment of all. Seeing Oryx in Kings Fall final encounter for the first time is a close second.

@@A-with-the-J wrath is my favorite raid too. I think every encounter from that raid belongs on this list. Also another memorable moment is when you breach to Atheon's room in patrol. Not really a raid moment but it's in a raid setting. The first time I did this, i took like 10 screenshots of the room so I could brag about it.
For real with the music it reminds you of a war that's been fought and guardians are falling to the darkness like Eris Morn's fire team, Cayde, and Shaw Hans fireteam...

Considering the whole "keep it from the wrong hands" thing, the "godlike judgement" (very Clovis to refer to himself as godlike), etc.? Update: Apparently, Clovis programmed a failsafe into the Morningstar to make it crash into Europa in a nuclear explosion if the vault was ever breached.

They've really stepped up their game for the ost since the first game. Vog has like no memorable music and I'm pretty sure it's either mostly silent or all music previously used in the campaign. Oryx's theme was definitely a step up, but destiny 2 really stepped up the game with tracks like the hunted which I adore, rivens music, the music from gos and this as well

Say what you want about Luke Smith and the sandbox teams, but you just cant deny the amazingness that is the sound and art teams. This section of DSC is one of, if not THE most, best examples of that.
When this raid came out, I had to stop and take in what was happening I was so amazed and in awe of this section. Deep Stone Crypt will forever be my favourite raid
The atmosphere of DSC is unmatched. I can't see them making another raid with the same beauty. Wherever you walk in the Crypt it feels so empty. You know how full and lively the crypt used to be. But now everyone is gone except you and the fallen.
I did this for the first time last night and having already heard the song multiples times.... that did not stop the chills i got nor the almost tears to fall this song means a lot to me in that it helps clear my head and stops racing thoughts. It means a lot to me and I was very excited to do this raid as my second one (after vog if anyone's curious) and it hit hard.
i dont know the story of this scenario but its giving me vibes of the first nier game, that whole thing about you bringing the end of humanity through actions you deem justified

This was my first raid in destiny 2, the moment of looking at space was breathtaking. I just wish to do it again, just to wander around once more. (No one on xbox wants to do DSC anymore )
Its basically invoking the sense of nostalgia while the tunes hits certain parts of the brain to invoke happiness. Its like a calm after the storm. It soothes instead of excites.
