I had heard about the song and the space walk when I made a comment that the Queen's Walk song had to be one of the best in the game and one of my fire team members told me to look up the space walk. The song itself is great, but actually going through the gameplay while listening to Clovis talk was incredible.
The sherpa for my first run made us all turn up the music volume, and banned us from talking. My god am I glad he did. One of the most impactful moments in gaming history

d2 at its peak, where my clan mates was still playing and active, going on dsc raids every week, sherpa-ing, having fun. content was good . how I missed my clan. they all grew up, we all did. we all disbanded. and occasionally I would log in d2 to follow up on the lore, but there isn't any more life into it. no more clan nights. no more raid runs, no more dungeon farm. engram farm. masters nightfall or whatnot. makes you realize how fast time flies and how good memories were made. This one hit home. Wasn't into d2 that much. I'm a D1 vet. Waking up at 5am to run raids with my crew, delete the character, re-level another one and do it all again😊. Og VoG, getting my first vex mythoclast, the VERY first gjhallahorn drop, datto and the community coming together to solve the outbreak prime riddle....man, I'll never have another feeling like that in gaming again. This raid means so much to me. It was the first one I ever cleared. The first one I understand fully. This song which has accompanied me through many a breakdown (which has also earned itself my most listened track on Spotify) and the lore and the emotion that comes with it and the way that this place *feels.* I love this raid so much. This raid is also the first one I cleared, the first one I understood fully. It is also the raid I did 64 times to get the exotic and the raid that I know the meaning of every background sound.
I've played Destiny since the first week D1 was released so I was about 12 and I recently just turned 20. Back when I was 12, I was getting bullied and my parents were getting divorced and just dealing with other things as well, so this game along with the firends I've made helped me escape the negative. I've made such amazing memories, dove deep into the story, and made friends that I still do raids with. I love Destiny, Bungie, and the community so much for everything it is now.
Same. Played Destiny from the Beta all the way to the current Season of the Seraph. So many friends and memories. I'll never forget my first raid, the Original Vault of Glass. It was an amazing experience. So glad you got have such wonderful experiences in that world as well!
Lost my first love to a best friend and stuff was rocky between family.......it was a blessing to be able to play destiny when I needed an outlet....even though I haven't talked to my original team, always will remember the memories and dancing to hooked on a feeling and come and get your love on Mars

I will forever miss this game. 10 years, all the memories, joys, pains, friends come and gone. We are all Guardians and i dont regret the time I spent. I just wish it didnt have to end like this.
Hearing this after 14 hours fighting Atrax actually fucking broke me, i was in tears for several minutes while i jusy sat and listened to the music. The whole VC that had been celebrating, doing callouts, etc, went silent instantly when this started. Im truly sad Destiny has gone the way it did, because that means I'll never get to have another experience like this from it. Hopefully some other game in the future can give me that someday.

I did very much enjoy the cutscenes after Excision, I just left the one of the Guardian and Ghost sitting on the HELM playing for an hour or so enjoying the atmosphere
I want the final shape DLC to be all about us, the player. About how we failed to protect NeoMuna, Cayde, and just mentally break down. Have a deep conversation with ghost while this plays out.
Turning everything else low and everyone just in joy about the music made this feel like a cutscene even more special. This music is a master piece one thing that bungje did right. A memorable moment

The first time I did the deep stone crypt with my clan, I thought it was boring. Once we got here however, we all without saying a word just stopped talking. The second we heard the music it was like we all just drifted from the crypt. I got to the end first, and just sat there closing my eyes and listening to the music. I now have it on my playlist. I listen to it on repeat while I sleep.
I don’t think even Cayde’s death made me tear up as badly as this did for the first time. I had chills, goosebumps, I was in awe of the breathtaking view of space… I remember it like it was yesterday, yet it’s been… 3? Years since I ran that raid for the first time. I miss it, and I wish I could re-experience for the first time the way I did back then.

Witch Queen as a DLC is better than most of BL, but this, The Space Walk, is nothing short of perfection, and so far beyond anything in almost any video game it’s… awe inspiring
This is one of my favorite expansions after Forsaken & Witch Queen. Love the tone of the campaign, post campaign missions, the raid and all the soundtracks. Bungie usually doesn't nail all of them at once

It was still pretty cool though. It's amazing how everybody shuts the hell up- there's NO yacking during this. It's a respectful, almost solemn experience.
I remember my first Crypt run. Very chaotic, people were getting mad. But the sherpa when we got here said "game up, mics off" and it was such a wonderful thing. Noone was angry, we all just enjoyed this gorgeous soundtrack with some of the best dialogue I've heard. "Why do you still raid?" This. This is why I still raid. this whole sequence was beautiful. it reminded me of alot of games with these. the music. the speech. the lore. the seriousness in tone and environment. like a fragment of the past still lingering in a time it should not even exist in
it kills me that i can never play this expansion for the first time again. idk what about it caused such a fixation in it for me, but the whole things gives me a near indescribable feeling of euphoria, dread, melancholy, nostalgia, and wonder. it may have something to do with my abuse of psychedelics during that time. I remember finally getting cloudstrike, it was freezing in my room, i could barely feel my hands, and i was tripping so hard i couldn't see the cloudstrike in my character's hands. it was like it was cloaked by some active camo device that was subtly phasing in and out of visibility, and i couldn't believe i had the gun. it was as if it wasn't real, like i made it up in my head the whole time but suddenly it was there inside the game. and i was so so so cold
