i feel bad for all of the newlights and kinderguardians who wont be able to play the first mission with this song. truly the peak of destiny campaign missions. this masterpiece really brings out everything good in destiny and, personally the emotions started flooding when playing the mission for the first time on release.
i miss the campagine, because it was great, the music was always good and it also gave a reason behind why the old tower is destroyed, now all that's left is the broken tower, and the history of the red war, i remember going from lvl 0 to 20 after that campagine
"You weren't there at Six Fronts. You weren't there when Shaxx held fast against thousands. You weren't there when Crota arrived. Nor when the Vex stormed Venus. But when it counted most, you were there Guardian. When Crota met his end. When the Vex machine gods were dismantled. When the King fell and when the Rise of the Machines was halted. You, Guardian, were there. Then, then the Tower fell. You did what you could. You were knocked down. Beaten, battered, bruised and bleeding. You reached for me, held me in your hands and faced death one last time. Were it not for your helmet, the Traveler would have seen your smile. We rose together. We fell together. We died together. But you refused to quit. On the Vanguard, the people of the City and those who had not yet made it their home. You refused to quit. You refused to die. What you did then was against Fate. You woke the Traveler. Took his Light and rained down hellfire on the Cabal. Sent Vex screaming into the void and shattered the Hive and Taken alike with the power that holds and destroys the atomic bonds that make up the universe. And then the Scorn. They murdered a hero. You killed their god. With all the fury you could muster, you invaded their bases. Decimated their troops and crushed everything between you and the man responsible. Hive god? Pssh. Wish Dragon, walk in the park. Ascendant Realm meatball? Could have used some salt. You have pulled heroes back from death, thought lost to time and oxidized Vex pseudo-gods. Whatever is next for us, I will be there with you. You are what they must mean when they say 'It is your Destiny'. Thank you Guardian."
👏👏👏👏 you just made my day man thank you I love that quote man you are a legend for spending your time writing that word you word you are that guardian right there👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a legend, it hurts me that I cant experience destiny anymore ( I dont have any time in uni) but damn, do I love this, we were their for all of that, and I know my fellow guardians will do us proud by destroying threats known and unknown, from Omnigul to the Darkness itself
@@zackshark2156 "Cayde’s actual last words were, “The Vanguard was the best bet I ever lost”. If anyone likes to read the lore, he actually says this because he lost a bet to Andal Brask, the old hunter vanguard before him. They called it the Vanguard Dare." - u/lxxTBonexxl
When this plays as you leave the City in flames, it says "Be brave." When you storm the city to retake it from the Red Legion, it says "Become legend."
I love how they have this be the "you got beaten song" in the beginning and have it become the "Bring em fuckin down" song at the end of the game. Really make me wish they let you play story missions on demand.
This reminds me of destiny 2, the friends i made along the way, and why i quit. I quit because the game was, for me, lacking creativity, and new things only come out every once so often. This makes me think of the first time i played destiny in 2017. To me, this marked a pivotal moment in my life. Games can have meaning. I played it for hours on end, doing strikes, pvp, gambit, and raids. I would go weeks, months, just playing D2. I always felt a sense of wonder while playing it. The new abilites and skill trees kept me entertained with more content, and forsaken just added to that. Shadowkeep was the moment i started playing D2. I still remember the moment i uninstalled D2. I still remember the moment i started up D2, all the way back to when it was on the battle.net launcher. I witnessed the split of activision. I still remember being hype for shadowkeep. But everything must end...
Hi its Lukas from Game Music Collective. I cant agree more with you, I think this is one of the most great soundtracs in modern Video Games era. We are still small channel and really appreciate all the support and sharing. Cheers! :)
Whenever I hear this piece I can't help but start tearing up. I grew up on this game, its helped me through so many trials and hard times. I've met some of my closest friends and role models who helped make me who I am today through it. This videos a bit older now but it's nice to see this incredible song, and the wonderful memories I associate with it come back. Thank you
While I was making my way through the outskirts of the mountain, I literally just broke down crying because I had been with my warlock for the past 4 years before and the thought of losing him was so devasting. From the moment this song played as I crawled out of the burning city, I put on my headphones and just sat there crying as I made my way out. Destiny has just been such an amazing ride from November 20-ish 2014.
RandyDandyAndy im crying all the time I hear it. Destiny is one of the best games in my life an it changed my life so much. I was there from the beginning and never disappointed from this game. And the music is so amazing like I said I have to cry all the time
Heres to the past that brought us to today where we look back at the journey and the wonder it brought. Where we learned what it meant to be a guardian.
@@JustRayken they kinda did. there was three changes made to the tower after forsaken droped(excluding his disappearance). one being a golden ace statue right in front of zavala, second being his portrait in a ramen shop, bazaar. the last is his cloak behind amanda holiday.
Hearing this song makes me feel so many emotions. It makes me remember all the good times I had with my old friends in d1. We would all get home after school and do vault of glass in hope that one of us would get vex mythoclass. But eventually we all started to drift apart. And eventually we stopped playing with each other. But then one day, one of them sent me a message saying “I hope you haven’t forgotten about us” and sent a screen shot of all us together in d1 doing emotes, I miss those days.
How could you not be pulled into the music... being an active part of any epic musical score and after the hard work and endless practice being able to stand and shout YES! From the bottom of your soul as you triumphantly gaze at the birth of a masterpiece.
@@lumpylog707 you question my death, yet don't mention my captured servant KEKSIS also being here alive? Wow. -also Oryx is alive by having his heart become Touch of Malice. So let's just say I'm listening to this through the gun-
I come here once more, I’m not sure if this was the exact video I posted my comment on a little over a year ago, but here I shall post it. On December 1st, 2017 I launched Destiny 2 for the first time. And I’ve been in love with it since. The journey from then to now has been amazing. The split with Activision, Cayde’s death, Rasputin, the Pyramid, all of it was amazing. Every bounty and patrol, it was all apart of my Journey as a guardian. I made the first friends I truly considered friends. I can’t think of anymore ways to go on my speech, so I’m going to end it here, I’ll see you next here, to talk more about my Journey. Eyes up, Guardians.
I'm a music enthusiast and avid game player, and this, this gives me chills. It's good to see that there's still a gaming company devoted to giving good soundtracks. I'm truly delighted...🙂
"These guardians... They had no chance without their powers. That could be us. Guardian, if you die, I can't resurrect you." also. i'll have a moment of silence for Cayde. :')
This orchestral tells a story, the story of someone who lost everything, their best friends and life-long companion after losing a war, however unlike some, this person didn't give up, they continued on and fought despite all odds, they escaped the hunt for them with their life while taking revenge in small battles, they escaped to find a small civilisation where they could begin life again.
Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
Something dark stirs at the depths of the hellmouth, we can feel it. A hive abomination bread for unthinkable evil. We must pierce the veil of their summoning pits and destroy this creature, before the hive unleash it upon us all.
"Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen."
"The fallen will continue to claw at the walls of out city, unless we strike them down. Beneath the ruins in the cosmodrome in the shadow of an old colony ship, we've located the house of devils' lair and the high servitor feeding them their strength. We must destroy this machine god, and send their souls screaming back to hell."

I know it’s a long comment but this is what I feel when I hear this song. This song is a journey to me as an alpha player from destiny. I know a lot of people who didn’t play Destiny that got destiny 2. They didnt care about what our guardians went through in the first game. They didn’t know the lore. Fighting the black garden, Atheon, Crota the hive god, kell of kells Skolos, Oryx the Taken King, and Axis the Machine god of Siva. When Gual arrived nobody knew what he was capable of. Taking our light and being human for a little while. after becoming legend in the first game i had to do it all over again. As much fun as I had since 2014 (alpha player) I’m the only one from my destiny 2 clan to experience the first game and it’s story and Raids. When we did Calus for the fist time I was disappointed in bungie for a mediocre raid. The raid lairs weren’t any good in my opinion. Bosses were too easy. But then Forsaken and beyond light came out I was Glad they had returned to Decent raid mechanics. Doing the raid in forsaken having to explain to my clan mates felt like I was back in D1. I clearly remember explaining VOG, CE, TTK, and WOTH to my clan mates. Teaching them the raids. I wasn’t the clan leader but I was the clans strategist. And then When beyond light came out and we did Deep stone crypt they had no idea who Tankis was. The moment I saw Tankis i said “Tankis is back?” And nobody knew what I was talking about. I had to go on a 15 minute explanation on who tankis was. They were surprised to learn he was a strike boss in destiny. It took a few months but I convinced all the other 5 of the main raid team to purchase destiny 1 legendary edition so they could experience destiny 1 for what they could. (Sadly they can never experience year 1 Like a lot of here did. The loot cave. Rahool giving blues from legendary engrams, and Dinklebot) told them to complete the original story (even us D1 vets know it wasn’t that good) had them go through every DLC in order and we did the raids. This song reminds me of those times. Back when destiny was a game I could lose time to. Now it’s 2021 and it feels like a distant memory I miss my Destiny 1 raid team to this day. Kody, Juan, Josh, Angle (inside joke), and John. If any of you guys happen to read this I hope one day we can all reunite in destiny 2 to do VOG in Destiny 2. For our Journey through destiny will always be remembered. Even if only by me. These are memories I will cherish. For eventually Destiny 1 servers will shut down and I dread the day that happens. For now. Eyes up Guardian.
I have the utmost respect for those who play the game, understand the lore, and started from the very beginning. I wish I could have done that. D2 was my first game I poured my time into and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I also hope one day to play through D1 before it gets shut down.
Made me tear up and think back to my time in D1 and the friends I made and lost along the way in that game. The memories I have of that game are among some of the best.
thank you for laying to text the words i don’t currently have. my fireteam was Nathan, James, Hayden, and Seth. i hope that when i get dementia some day that my memories with them and those on d1 are some that my biology wills that i keep.
As beyond light took everything old about D2 we listen to the music and read the lore and remember the feeling we had when the light was taken and when we found it again.
Band-aid it’s in reference to the game. When you die from an unknown source or by accident in the game it tells you that you were “killed by the architects.” I was referencing that to the number of people that disliked the video.
Who's here after the death of Activision A.K.A. the rebirth of Destiny? EDIT: This comment gives me the big sad now. EDIT #2: I have the big sad no longer, long live Destiny.
Yes sir. Fuck Activision. Their a corrupting company that is only in it for the money, and their trying to turn other companies such as Bungie and Blizzard with them.
@@ryanbryant6317 we will finally get the game we want and the recognition bungie deserves. Thanks for leaving Activision, now people will enjoy destiny
I play Destiny since Taken King... Sometimes I just go back, hear the old soundtracks, just to get that old feel years ago, I love this game, the lore, everything I guess, but damn... The music, it's perfect, every single time
I legit almost cried watching this, it just made me think about everything I love and cherish about this game and this community (besides the toxic parts ofc)
I'll be honest, still not over Cayde-6. Was reading over his lore cards again and- idk. It sounds odd to say about a fictional character but I miss him.
i dont usually get sad over fictional characters, but man, caydes death hit me hard. i wasnt ready for cayde to die, right in the beginning of forsaken
Thing that saddens me the most is that I also feel sad for uldren, his sister had died and then once he finds a way to bring her back he ends up killing cayde 6 and is then murdered, after that he gets rezzed with no memory of his past life and has no idea why everybody hates him and is forced to hide away from society, honestly a sad ending for both uldren and cayde 6
When I paused Destiny 2 to look up the orchestral piece I was hearing in my ear buds, which is a first for me, I had low expectations of finding anything relevant. Yet here you all are, playing this exact piece, but with even more gusto. It’s super refreshing to see a performance with such visible and genuine passion and respect for an emotional composition. Thanks for making me choke up a bit tonight. Warm regards to you all.
Damn this game knows how to make you feel the emotions, I remember crying after playing forsaken due to the storytelling and music, bungie does not get enough credit for this franchise even tho activison claimed most of the credit

God I would love to experience that in person. Journey is my absolute favorite song in the compositions that make up the entire Destiny music collection. Two others that I like are What We Fight For (the incredible video back story of Zavala) and The Last Array. If they did a back story on Cayde-6, do you picture part of that story would end up using the Benny Hill theme?
My friend linked me this on Discord. This makes me so incredibly happy. I love the series, I love the music, and I love you all for taking the time and effort to play such an emotional and inspiring song live.
More guardians have found their way back into the light since brothers and sisters. We are at 258K as of today...and more are finding their way back each day that passes. Called by the beautiful haunting tones of our struggles past 😉
"Look at how far we've gone.. The friends we've made and lost along the way.. The memories that shall stay with us till the end. It's been beautiful, Guardian... I'll see you star side."
I've come back to watch this several times, just to see the amount of passion put into this performance. Excellent job guys, and a special thanks to the cellist.
Despite it's many shortcommings and changes over the last few years, Destiny 2's lore and music and certain characters (Cayde) are extremely well produced.
As a Guardian that started my Journey in Destiny 2, this is the absolute best track in the game. There are two things Bungie will never let us down with, and that's the music and the game environments.
That ... was beyond incredible! I've been playing Destiny since Day 1 Beta. Virtually every single day I've been there. The music has been a part of my life for the last 9 years, and I expect it will be there for me until my last breath. This was masterfully done and I was quite moved by it. To all those who performed this masterpiece, thank you very much.
"Guardian... If you die, I cant resurrect you." "We have to be very careful.." New Light players wont be able to experiance having to start the game for 2 missions without powers.
I’m a new light Player and i’m playing all the campaigns and I wish i could play the red war as intended because it was such a powerfull moment to loze you’re light
I remember loading up the game and defending the tower, kicking ass along the way and then getting completely screwed by ghaul. Walking around without my powers genuinely stressed me out. Nothing could have prepared me for the fucking mountain scene though. Walking through that mountain following the bird with the music in the backround made me tear up. No other game has done that to me besides borderlands 2
Then: We must protect the tower from the Cabal Now: An entire darkness fleet is near and the Cabal threw us an entire star destroyer ship. Nah no worries
The saddest part is that now that bugie has sunset the old content, people will never get to hear this masterpiece in game as you look out over a destroyed city from the top of a mountain! I miss what destiny 2 was at the start even if it was a bit lackluster gameplay wise.
It does play on a certain map during PvP however I agree with you, that first time of looking at the city burning with a captured Traveller and guardian with no light had a certain aesthetic. Destiny 2 has lost that and we all know it's just a money grab now.
Yap I t was amazing I started season 9 and this song and the story was one of the reasons why I started playing Destiny 2 And now I am a PvP Main Ups...
Thank you destiny. Ever since i played destiny for the first time in grade 5, all the way through to this year, the year i graduate highschool, thank you for being my favourite game ever. For all your stories, adventures, emotions, and loot, thank you.
I've seen a lot of underrated channels but this one was so far under the radar but now I cant stop watching these... please continue doing this, even if it's just every once and a while... truly beautiful work 🤧
2:40 and 4:10 is the best parts. Probably the most emotional song I’ve ever heard for a video game. Bungie smashed it out of the park with Kronos Quartet for the “Journey” song. Absolutely amazing!
This song holds so many memories, it brings me back to a time where things were much more simple, when the only thing I needed to worry about was doing chores. . .
first started playing destiny pretty young, I remember I chose titan because it looked the strongest with the biggest muscles and armor. I did not care about the story at all and would literally just patrol wherever I could, usually the moon I think. I wish I cared about the story and got into it, but I also really appreciate that innocence of exploring these planets and places that I heard about in school, even if they are semi fictional with aliens. That was awesome to me too, the fallen made a cool noise when you headshot them, the vex had a weird crit point and the hive were scary. I remember Crotas end coming out and being able to use those hive swords, I was so happy. I would reload a certain mission where I would use it and just have fun with the sword. Then taken king came out and I was sooo excited about the new subclass, sunbreaker became my main and remains my only fully leveled subclass in D1. I thought the flaming hammers were soo cool and would still just patrol around, I eventually started doing PvP and got an awesome eyasluna roll because I wanted a hawk moon and eyasluna was my second best bet. I met some cool people even someone with the same gamertag as me, just slightly different numbers. The April update came out and I really wanted the taken armor, my older brother helped me get it and I never wanted to take it off, I got the taken emote that was so creepy to me. Rise of iron came out and my brother bought a code from GameStop but it did not work so that is the only expansion I did not experience. Destiny 2 came out and I was ecstatic, all of the subclasses looked different and it was awesome. Me and my brother both pitched in to get it and I remember climbing that mountain just ready for the adventure that awaited, whether I knew it or not. I did that 3 times on all classes, hunter became my main, but I never stopped playing the other classes. I loved the red war campaign, since I was so young I was oblivious to the flaws vanilla D1 had, it was incredible to me. Curse of Osiris came out and I hardly remember playing it, same with warmind. I’ve been a solo player up until these expansions though, my cousin started playing with me and we went through so many exotic quests, I got Polaris lance and that one sword that teleports you after sprinting, we worked towards getting sleeper Simulant and finally got It after ages, then whisper of the worm which we never got, og mission was great. Outbreak perfected took us ages but we finally got it (catalyst too I think) which remains one of my favorite memories of this game. Forsaken came out and I was sad about cayde but mostly excited about the new weapons and subclass trees, blade barrage infatuated me. Bows were soooo incredibly awesome and are still probably my favorite weapon (but now they are meta and everyone is bandwagoning) I LOVED forsaken and did just about everything I could in it besides the raid and dungeon. I wanted wish ender so bad but it was locked behind that activity I deemed too hard. Shadowkeep came out and i was not that excited, some of the seasons during it were cool but not that crazy for me. Beyond light scared and excited me, so much stuff got removed but so much stuff got added, I was so overwhelmed just playing the opening mission I closed destiny right there and uninstalled it. I quit for about 2.5 years. I came back I think around when solar 3.0 came out. I was scared and overwhelmed coming back but I endured and experienced all of the new content. I desperately wanted gyrfalcons but had yet to buy witch queen so I couldn’t. Lightfall was announced and I was so excited, I had recently learned about rope darts and thought they were awesome, lucky for me my main’s super ended up being a rope dart and all I could think was “perfect timing”. Hype built and light fall came out, I had a dentist appointment that day and couldn’t wait to get home and grind to get strand. I did not end up getting it that first day but day 2 I think I got it, it was awesome, one of my favorite destiny experiences to date. Infinite grapple with grenade kickstart was one of my favorite things to do. I just keep exploring that wonderful DLC and eventually get witch queen, so I could get gyrfalcons, little did I know that story would be so incredible. It reminded me of exploring the dreadnaufht in destiny 1. I played through everything and finally got caught up after my break. I convinced my brother to play destiny again and it was a similar experience with him at first, stressful and overwhelming. He endured though and we played together every day. We duo’d everything except the campaigns because it felt better solo’ing those. Eventually we decided to just duo a legendary strike (this was hard content for us) and we did it that night, then we did some dungeons, they were so fun, I can’t remember every dungeon we did but those were some of my favorite experiences. Then, my cousins comviently needed 2 more people for raiding and we started doing raids. We started with kings fall, it was awesome, all I wanted was a really good doom of chelchis roll and I eventually got one after farming the first encounter. While 4 of us were just goofing off, we did the second encounter. It was hard because of the timing but we did it and I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more accomplished. We completed the raid eventually and it was a top 5 destiny moment of all time. Next we did last wish, me and my brother wanted to get some of the weapons so we brought a third (much better) cousin and farmed the first encounter and eventually everybody was brought on and we did it, that one was harsher because of the mechanics but we did lament at the end and did it somehow, I got an awesome supremacy and apex predator (my two dream weapons from last wish). Next we took a bit of a break, me and my brother ended up doing grasp if avarice many times (my fav dungeon) and ghost of the deep (my brothers fave dungeon), ghost of the deep was so fun and hard, grasp was just playful, less stressful I think. Ghost was X-games mode though, and we got some awesome rewards. Next our raiding cousins did some crotas end, we have yet to complete it since school started but we completed the first encounter and bridge which was an endeavor with our group, fun nonetheless. That brings me season of the wish. I saw wishkeeper and wanted it SOOO bad, threadrunner has been my favorite subclass since it came out and wishkeeper felt like the perfect synergy, plus with my love for bows it was natural. I learned there was no new exotic armor (the main thing I was looking forward to) and took a tiny break until wishkeeper came out. Me and my brother did the mission and it was actually sort of hard, then we did it on legend for the first catalyst but it was even harder. After that, we did warlords ruin blind. My favorite dungeon experience yet, we didn’t know how anything worked and it felt so vast. The final boss was an absolute challenge for me and him (we’re duoing, after the kings fall 4 man encounter we liked to low-man) but eventually we beat it the first time we got it to final stand, it got SO close, he had died and I barely clutched up, but it was such an achievement. After that though, there wasn’t much to do. I got a PC for Christmas and played some destiny on that but it wasn’t super great. We remain in a content drought (at least it feels that way for me) even though I haven’t even done everything. My journey through destiny has been crazy, and I guess this is a good place to share that. I love this game and I’m so ready for this 10 year saga to meet its glorious end. I want final shape to deliver. I need final shape to deliver. This has got to be my favorite game even though I leave it and come back. Final shale is going to be my final chance to enjoy destiny how it is and that scares and excites me. Let’s all have one amazing final destiny 2 experience starting June 4th! Thank you bungie for creating this game, despite its current state I can’t help but appreciate all that has been done. This truly is the game of all time. Thanks again. May you all be well.
I haven't cried for about a year or two because I've been bottling up my emotions as usual, but this really, truly, brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I decided to watch this when it popped up in my recommendations
I dont know what to say! Ive never played the game. The music moved me in ways i cant explain but joy, sadness, triumphant, victory, loss. Just an amazing orchestra! Well done
Moved me that i could not help but shed tears, which i would never do. Congrats to all your musician's who bring this lost art of story telling back through music
I remember getting home from school, finding my pre order sitting on my bed on a Friday, frantically loading up console and praying for fast internet, that 1st mission, working my way through the tower, finding the EDZ, Nessus, Titan, Io. Year 1 wasnt the best, no one will dispute that, but my gosh, will it always have a special place in my heart, life was better then, this music is power, this music is for our fallen guardians, both IRL, and in game. I know no one will see this, but i just had to say it
Say what you will about Destiny the game, but the music and lore behind the game is absolutely phenomenal....
Totally agreed! :)
Bungie definitely has always excelled in those areas

i miss the campagine, because it was great, the music was always good and it also gave a reason behind why the old tower is destroyed, now all that's left is the broken tower, and the history of the red war, i remember going from lvl 0 to 20 after that campagine

Such a great piece of music!
Im so glad to see this piece out again. Destiny’s music doesnt get as much credit as it should
Hi its Lukas from Game Music Collective. I cant agree more with you, I think this is one of the most great soundtracs in modern Video Games era. We are still small channel and really appreciate all the support and sharing. Cheers! :)

And eventually we stopped playing with each other.

"In its dying breath. The traveler created ghosts.... to open doors."

(I think this where this version of the song actually ends but there is more lyrics to the actual song)
Thank you for this you absolute legend.
I've never even thought about the fact that destiny 1 servers will close its so sad that it will eventually happen
thank you for laying to text the words i don’t currently have. my fireteam was Nathan, James, Hayden, and Seth. i hope that when i get dementia some day that my memories with them and those on d1 are some that my biology wills that i keep.
As beyond light took everything old about D2 we listen to the music and read the lore and remember the feeling we had when the light was taken and when we found it again.

Despite it's many shortcommings and changes over the last few years, Destiny 2's lore and music and certain characters (Cayde) are extremely well produced.
_“The Vanguard was the best bet i ever… lost.”_ Cayde-6
As a Guardian that started my Journey in Destiny 2, this is the absolute best track in the game.
There are two things Bungie will never let us down with, and that's the music and the game environments.
The music, the game environment, and the stories.
From the beginning, you know the end.
The fact that some of them are probably playing on strings a few hundred years old just adds to the experience.
That ... was beyond incredible!

"You will endure"
-Lord Saladin in every iron banner match he watches.
"Guardian... If you die, I cant resurrect you."
"We have to be very careful.."
New Light players wont be able to experiance having to start the game for 2 missions without powers.
I’m a new light Player and i’m playing all the campaigns and I wish i could play the red war as intended because it was such a powerfull moment to loze you’re light
What are you talking about? You can lol
No. When things are vaulted, so is this storyline. All new players come November will have and entirely new campaign.
it was the best introduction questline that i have ever seen
I remember loading up the game and defending the tower, kicking ass along the way and then getting completely screwed by ghaul. Walking around without my powers genuinely stressed me out. Nothing could have prepared me for the fucking mountain scene though. Walking through that mountain following the bird with the music in the backround made me tear up. No other game has done that to me besides borderlands 2
Then: We must protect the tower from the Cabal
Now: An entire darkness fleet is near and the Cabal threw us an entire star destroyer ship. Nah no worries
Thanks dorito
@@justsomedude1593 why
No worries, no matter how hard they hit us, we will come back stronger. Thats what separates us from everything the darkness destroyed.
_And you Titans think you can solve everything by flying over there and headbutting it!_
@@SolPhantasmagoria "Well we actually solve everything by headbutting things. And this season it works even better!"
Bro... Right in the feels. I've played thousands of hours of Destiny and now I want to hop on for some more. RIP Cayde.
Huge shout out to the outstanding musicians who performed this. Their emotion output into their instruments can be felt deeply. Spectacular
This made me want to cry when I played the game for the first time don't know why😖
Can relate to that!
Never cried so much, not even when my father died when I was 5. Thank you.
Yap I t was amazing I started season 9 and this song and the story was one of the reasons why I started
playing Destiny 2
And now I am a PvP Main
Ups...
this made me play destiny 2 again.. thanks guys
Thank you destiny. Ever since i played destiny for the first time in grade 5, all the way through to this year, the year i graduate highschool, thank you for being my favourite game ever. For all your stories, adventures, emotions, and loot, thank you.
I've seen a lot of underrated channels but this one was so far under the radar but now I cant stop watching these... please continue doing this, even if it's just every once and a while... truly beautiful work 🤧
Thanks, we'll keep doing this for sure!
2:40 and 4:10 is the best parts. Probably the most emotional song I’ve ever heard for a video game. Bungie smashed it out of the park with Kronos Quartet for the “Journey” song. Absolutely amazing!
Goose bumps every single time... Love every single second of it. Masterpiece !!!
Thank you!
This song holds so many memories, it brings me back to a time where things were much more simple, when the only thing I needed to worry about was doing chores. . .
The melody is like a river. It is born as the tiniest flow but slowly turns into a wild river and makes it's way into the sea
first started playing destiny pretty young, I remember I chose titan because it looked the strongest with the biggest muscles and armor. I’ve been a solo player up until these expansions though, my cousin started playing with me and we went through so many exotic quests, I got Polaris lance and that one sword that teleports you after sprinting, we worked towards getting sleeper Simulant and finally got
It after ages, then whisper of the worm which we never got, og mission was great.
Should Have Chose Warlock.
@@sethman76 ur so right, warlocks are so cool.
This brought me back the tears I never thought would be brought out of my eyes.

I still come back to this just for the goosebumps. Hits every time. ❤️
AND THAT IS A FACT
I haven't cried for about a year or two because I've been bottling up my emotions as usual, but this really, truly, brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I decided to watch this when it popped up in my recommendations
I dont know what to say! Ive never played the game. The music moved me in ways i cant explain but joy, sadness, triumphant, victory, loss. Just an amazing orchestra! Well done
Moved me that i could not help but shed tears, which i would never do.
Congrats to all your musician's who bring this lost art of story telling back through music
I love the destiny 2 music so much! Thanks for this beautiful artwork
We do as well! Thanks!
Thank you for uploading this.
Thanks - its also one of our favorite pieces :)
This music is bringing back so many wonderful memories and I'm starting to cry
This piece after the city fell along with the beautiful landscape as you traveled just having lost your light is what got me hooked to Destiny.
