After I posted this video the convection fan started to make noise again and zline deemed it defective from the factory. I ended up returning this range begrudgingly and got a kitchenaid instead. Kitchen aid is one of my favorite brands for all kitchen appliances. Although I gave zline a chance I don’t have the time for something I use a lot to have a lot of problems. Kitchen aid works great with no problems. Zline is a new company and my problems probably won’t be someone else’s. I think they can fix their bugs and be a big competitor in the appliance market.
Sorry to hear you had problems with your ZLINE range. I have the RAS-SN-30 which is the 30" dual fuel in the Durasnow stainless finish and it has worked flawlessly going on three months now. I love mine and am already looking to buy the 48" when we move to a new house in a few years.
I loved the look of the zline but functionality wise I went with the kitchen aid since some of the problems with my range they couldn’t figure out how to fix. I do cook a lot so maybe it would be a good choice for someone else.
The cooktop was fairly easy to clean the grates lift right up and it’s easy to wipe down. I actually returned the zline and ended up getting a kitchen aid. Zline has too many problems.
I just bout the RA-30, It came with a 4 prong plug, my previous stove had a 3 prong plug. Zline says you shouldn’t convert it to 3 prong, so I guess I have to hire a electrician to install a 4 wire cable to my box, and that’s gonna cost about $1000.00 dollars according to the distance from my outlet to the box .. I didn’t see this coming..!!
@@jabrilkeitt5674 Yes, it does mean something. I choose not to support a dictator who puts Uyghers in prison camps and has protestors disappeared. If every U.S. factory moved from China to Mexico I'd be fine with that.

thanks for the update
Does it have a broiler
Yes, although the oven is electric.
Any problems with scratching the surface?
I did scratch up the surface by accident. Nothing you could really do.

I am very curious about them because they’re substantially less than their counterparts
Confused by the comments..you love the Z-line or you actually replaced it with a Kitchen Aid?

how do you clean the cooktop?- thank you!

Did you order directly from Zline or did you buy from a store to get the 60% off
I ordered it from Home Depot but I ended up returning this range it had too many problems
@@jabrilkeitt5674 that is upsetting. Was the Zline customer service not helpful?
Did it come with a 4 prong cord or 3 prong?
Thank you
This is not an American brand. It is assembled and made in China.
Where it’s made doesn’t mean anything. Fords are made in Mexico and bmws are made in the USA 😂

@@rca6576 All cell phones, including Apple, are manufactured in China….what brand of cell phone do you use to avoid your “support” for China?😅😅😅

@@rca6576 yes yes of course 😅😅
Stay away from zline. This brand is absolute trash.
Could you recommend another brand in that type of range and with a similar price?
