3:17 i have a skin condition that basically causes my hands to SHED skin and sweat at an extreme rate. if i want my keyboard/mouse to look clean, i have to SCRUB them with alcohol about once every few weeks. and i'm talking scrubbing that takes literally an hour. not to mention my sweat is either too acidic or too base (i forget which) relative to average sweat, so it literally dissolves most silk-screening and it ends up polishing plastics and metals. my keyboard is probably 100 times dirtier than this one. and you might think, oh you can just dust it off. NO. the build up of dead skin has to be SCRAPED off a stiff nylon brush soaked in a solvent. and it takes hours and hours. i just buy a new keyboard every few years and bin the old one.
