    Justin, I'm not sure what did the world do to deserve you. In any case, I'm grateful. I'm especially loving the fact that you are coming back to the old lessons and even shooting new videos. I'm wishing you well.

If I would win the lottery i would share it with you just because you deserved it for your service you give the Guitar world here!!! You inspired me in so many ways, and I'll order your guitar guide for beginners book as well tomorrow! I feel so comfortable learning from YOU!

    I started learning guitar after accidentally watching one of Justin’s lessons on UA-cam, I’d never pick up a instrument until I’d seen his stile of teaching went out and bought a secondhand guitar and have started to play thank Justin ✌️

    Over just the past several weeks I've been trying to get back into not just playing guitar but actually LEARNING to play the guitar again after a couple decades plus of not doing much other than putts. Amazing how much you regress and forget when yur not engulfed in it for long periods.
    I stumbled apon a couple of UA-cam guitar teachers that really blew me away. JustinGuitar and MusicTheoryForGuitar. Both have been totally "instrumental" 😆 in their own ways at getting me grounded again and then pointing me in a direction of improvement!!!
    I've played for quite some time but it has taken the right instructor to break through my faults which have limited my ability. I'm really trying to play blue lead. And improvising lead of any sort has been forever out of my grasp... I can learn a lead part.. but to improvise??? FORGET IT! LOL!
    With some of your videos in scales and some of MTFG on learning to remember instantly where the notes are on the guitar so you can hit them and at the right times.. alot of this last part was Justin!. I'm playing blues parts like I've never played before! It's very simple.. but its improvised! So it's such a liberating feel! .. like breaking out!
    Alot of it too like Justin says is you need to listen to the blues if you want to play it!
    I need to go back through arpeggios with Justin. And learning and memorizing which notes make up each chords. I believe this is huge when expanding yur versatility in playing lead. Especially improvising

    hello justin, i just started learning guitar, i really want to play electric guitar, but a lot of people tell me that i should be good at acoustic first, should i keep practicing with my acoustic or just buy electric guitar and practicing with it.

    • @noelschulz6131
      @noelschulz6131 4 роки тому

      It's completely the same. Same guitar, but electric and waaaaaaay more sounds and so on....however, I had the same question and everyone told me it doesn't matter. And it doesn't.

    • @noelschulz6131

    Thanks so much Justin!
    Funny thing happened last night at an open mic....although I'm still a beginner guitarist at 2 1/2 yrs in...just entering Intermediate stage... The other 4 performers turned the stage over to me for most of the night...lol...They joined me on occasion, and at the END of the night, they all were smiles and full of excitement in having had such a wonderful time playing! The drummer was SO off beat, and jamming away...oblivious. .lol....the lead guitar, while decent enough was playing thrash metal to my Merle Haggard, whilst the other simply strummed D chords to my F#m...🤣 We sounded like shit! 😝 But the kids playing thought they were the next Pearl Jam...couldnt help but love them for it...🤣🤣🤣
    Thanks Justin, for everything!
