I consider myself a decent player. I’ve always found soloing over major keys to be challenging. Watching about 5 of Howard’s videos on major pentatonics has really opened my eyes and ears to using major pentatonic scale. Using these techniques (and licks/turnarounds) has really taken my soloing to the next level. I watch and follow a lot of guitar instructional videos For where I am, this channel has been a goldmine. I really enjoy applying what I am learning here. Thank you!!!!!
Hey Howard. What a fantastic lesson. I’m only just getting into some form of trying to solo and this is very helpful. Thanks a million and it’s really well explained. 😊😊😊
You made this video in a simple and understandable way. Hey brother, can you make a video about how to combine chords with blues improvisation with some theoretical explanation.
I really like your channel and your lessons I like this a lot of the songs that you have on your channel but I didn't see any UFO I love Michael Schenker and would like to learn the song shoot shoot thank you
wow this is very nice. covered a lot of ground. i like how you linked the box patterns and linear. so when we switch to the A major pentatonic it would be OK to add the Blue note in there? it sounds good, I tried it. thanks again howard.

These are great lessons awesome.
I did notice at around 6:33, you mention 4 note run on the d string. Only 3 were shown.
yes I saw that too . i think the tab should read (on the D string) 10, 12, 13, 14
Great way to explain it. Thank's a lot. Keep it up man !
