There is one food that can only be found in Klang and as far as I know no where else.. Its in Kg Kuantan (in front the mosque).. It's Nasi Telur Berlada and I always order Nasi Telur Berlada Campur (telur berlada with extra dish like chicken or beef or mix seafood)..

I gotta try some of those places soon! Sadly, MICHELIN Guide is now only for KL and Penang. No matter how good or better the food in Selangor or other states have, they won't be able to get the recognition due to that. Huhuhu
I have not tried the Melawis koey teow, i didn't even know it existed before this video. But let me tell you, as Penangite, whenever you see a shop with no sign and so discreet that it's only known to the locals in that specific area, there you'll find the most delicious food! This is from my personal experience.

As North Klang people, many of us rarely go to South Klang I dont know why, i rather just go to Sabak Bernam (the Northern part of Selangor) to enjoy paddy field😂😂😂 No hate tho, but South Klang need fix😂 (new parks & walkable roadside)

I was living for a short while in Singapore in 1998. Visited KL. Took an overnight train from Singapore to KL it was fun. As an Indian loved that there was a samosa and tea stall at the Singapore terminus run by a guy from UP of all the places. KL was good stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel couldn't believe the cheap price compared to India. I wanted to see a normal non touristy city and took a bus to Klang! Lovely place. Unfortunately I was not adventurous in food being Hyderabadi Muslim. I didn't even have nasi lemak or even satay.
For the Chinese in M'sia, we refer to our older siblings as "name" Koko (Big brother) and "name" Jie Jie (Big Sister). The BKT bread has pique my interest. Gonna have to make a stop there.

Loved the Klang night markets and of course the food. Also used to eat at the docks for seafood especially the crabs.

Some of the best seafood in Malaysia is found in Klang/Port Klang. Especially the Chilli Crab. Best Hokkien Mee is also in Klang. 😋😋😋
