You should try every food of each state before going back to US. Maksud saya tak perlu pergi setiap negeri utk rasa satu2, semua ada dekat Selangor. Contoh nya Kelantan Nasi Kerabu, Terengganu Nasi Dagang, negeri sembilan masak lemak cili api, Pahang patin tempoyak, Melaka asam pedas, Johor laksa Johor,, soto ayam, mee bandung, Penang nasi kandar, Kedah gulai siam, ikan pekasam, Perlis pulut manga, Perak Nasi Ganja, sabah ambuyat dan sarawak mee kolok. You guys will be complete as Malaysian. 😁😁

I think that not the case; Zayzay not like the sweet thing. But Logesh has a discipline to prevent his child to eat sweet stuff in early ages.
It look like Zayzay asking permission or reconfirming can he eat that thing, for me. It is a good discipline though.

its really easy actually.. my mom trained me and my sibling to eat sweets or candy only when we're 9-10 y.o. When we went kedai runcit, we can only buy biscuits or toys. No candies. My mom pujuk me and the rest if I dont buy candy, she will played Mulan or Cinderella on our cd player 😂 Also when we're 10, candies doesnt seem appetizing at all
@@hyuuganatsume2621 woww you have a great mom! my mom never did that to us buttt my mom have told us la candies and sweet aren’t good for children but she just let us have it, so if we think we have take too much, we will stop immediately and feel bored when we always eat or buy candies ~~ but in my condition, i dont really like candies, back when I was an elementary school student, I seldom buy candies but ya sometimes it addicting but I try to not buy it cause I always hear to mom advice; candies or keropok really not good and she got mad too if we buy it too much😂

I am Malaysian had tried roti kaya, roti Milo, roti pisang,roti bom, roti sarang burung,roti banjir,roti sardine before. Roti susu haven't yet 🤭🤭.It was really good yummy 😋🤤🤤,,,,from Malaysia 💖❤️

From 🇸🇬 Singapore!!..Best Wishes to the family!!..Roti Canai or Prata (a slightly different versions of "Flaky pastry") is almost a NATIONAL DISH in this region..Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia even Thailand and Philippines...(like in ASEAN !!). I understand from my Malaysian friends that "Roti Canai" has eggs kneaded into the dough while Prata is kneaded without eggs in most places...but this may not be the case always. Many places have different versions with a wide range of fillings..from savoury and sweet selections like chocolate, condensed milk (Susu), Planta (Margarine) to ice-cream. The Murtabak is a meaty curry filled version..Onion(garnished Bawang)..soft Flaky Roti Tissue and one can find even an All you can eat, buffet style, in some restaurants, for one price!!...Its a comfort food for me..and of course when accompanied with a glass "Teh-Tarik"..or "pulled-Tea"!!!...a funny translation to tea prepared by pouring back and forth from a distance as far as the tea makers hands can move 2 containers to mix the tea, milk, sugar etc. It is as enjoyable to watch as to drink it!!!
Absolutely roti pisang and roti canai here, always request the garing one. Haha! And my favourite completely with nescafe iced, ahhh yummyyy. Btw, stay safe ya to Kumaar family during the flood season, our prayers with you n ur lovely family.

i had roti tsunami this morning too. The instant i broke the yolk and it flowed on the roti, that's when the anticipation arouse and the roti taste soooo delicious... roti banjir. Yums...
Seeing the both of you eating all those rotis really makes me hungry. I prefer roti banjir and roti tampal myself. You should try Roti Sarang Burung "Bird's Nest Roti".

My fav is roti planta and roti sardine.. when i got the notification bell andd see the title, i was hoping you guys try roti tisu/tissue! This one roti is so fun to eat with friends around the table… and there’s one famous nan cheese in setapak i lupa nama dia.. Ayam tandoori dia pun sedap!

When studying in St. Louis, MO my room mate was Malaysian. He use to make this spicy egg dish, with shrimp paste and sliced onion. We left the house with the strong smell of the fish. But with the rice it was awwwwwwwweeeeeeeesome. Every time I visit KL, I hook up with my room mate and we go eating. We have similar in India but we call it paratha or Kati. luv you two, and say lots of love and hugs to aunty.

Awesome effort! And owwwhhh so sweet of Zay Zay for asking if the roti was sweet. My all time favorite is roti benang banjir at Restoran Choice, Jalan E1, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.
I like this food blog because I can focus on your comment, regularly you just tell what you want to eat and not to focusing on comment of the food, anyway it so nice you can have a food in it original place right?, so satisfying.
My fav is Roti telur, bawang, cili, planta extra garing… yum! Can you make a similar video for the different tosais and uttapam?

You guys should try Roti I Love You (Roti filled with egg, jam, plants, etc 😋.) It’s at Restoran Shanmuga, Taman Berkeley. They have another branch in Bukit Tinggi but am not too sure if they have roti I love you….
Ada satu lagi roti canai asli. Ini roti canai yang dibuat oleh suri rumah tangga melayu se belum merdeka dan rata-rata selepas 60an. Masih ada tapi tak di jual di kedai. Roti ini dicanai mengguna pencanai roti canai yang dibuat dari kayu bulat kecil sedikit dari dulang. Roti ini berlapis-lapis dan sangat rangup.

The other orang putih did not have any references to pronounce it. Most of them pronounce CANAI as it read C with hard C, like cat, can, crow, thus the KANAI.

Hi Logesh & Rachel. Thank you for a wonderful video Wow what a range of Roti I never knew that there was so many different types when I was in KL a few years back I only had the Roti Canai which I loved for breakfast along with the Tea Terek which I loved but here in the UK places are few and far between I found a place near me called Raya Malaysia but of course it is so expensive as well

Roti Planta is my favourite 😋 but usually roti planta have sugar in it 🤔 maybe lain kedai lain kot, kan .. tapi yg plg pnting this video is awesome ! ❤️
Roti tsunami basically like roti banjir, but more chaotic (read: egg).
Would say most of us would like roti banjir for breakfast. I love it.
Some part at East Coast, the closest thing like tsunami, they called it roti cotek (someone said cotek means "nicely put" some sort like that because that half-cooked egg).
* Edit: According tu Kamus Dewan, cotek is Kelantanese dialect mean, at the tip of something, visibily.
Sadly I am not Eastern Coast resident, so it is hard to find anywhere else; I order it as "roti banjir and telur goyang or half-boiled egg".
Some stall called it as roti jantan (two eggs). But as I said, it is hard to find one that serve as it is; roti tsunami / roti cotek / roti jantan.
In my place it's called Roti Tampal, with eggs on top but without the kuah. Then Roti Tampal Goyang, it's with eggs but the yolk is uncooked so it's goyang2 😂😂😂 I laughed at the name when I first heard someone order it.

Roti Tsunami not having a fair play. It gets help from the dalcha and curry. All Roti, including roti Kaya, will be on the next level with dalcha/curry/sambal. On a side note, the trending roti in Malaysia right now is Roti Sarang Burung

Get the frozen roti canai at the superstore, put on pan sampai garing both side. Put a slice of cheese on top n fold it into 2. Zz must like it so much?!
