Hadn't heard this song in 20 years or so......still kicks ass! They always had that unique sound, kinda bluesy, kinda rock. Perfect fusion of the 2 sounds.
Love this jam. Great song. Great guitar work too. Oldie but goodie here. Old school classic metal. Good memories. Good times God i miss the 80s. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was 16 when One Bitten came out. I'm still a Great white fan. To me they are the best of the 80's Hair Metal. Jack Russell is one of the few that can pull of Bob Plant. Check out Great Zeppelin.
@@jimleask5595 yeah just probably the people who did all the heavy lifting writing the lyrics & music. I mean if Ur into karaoke bands & not into originality sure, I can see how you liked. But I don't even see how much fantastically different or spectacular he/they were to the original. The screams at the end were comical.
Saw them live during the Once Bitten tour. Got Mark Kendall's autograph. He was incredibly cool and approachable. Was one of my fave players growing up.
This song "Face The Day" is from the album Shot in the Dark which was released in 1986, one year before Once Bitten. Although Once Bitten is an epic release!!!!
This was a song I used to sing in my head when I wake up feeling like crap adn still does at times. Somehow it in ways keeps me going. Oh well. Long live 80's hard rock/blues/metal.
Oh yeah! Great White was one band that kicked ass live, well worth the ticket price for sure. They rocked the house. Put many other top bands to shame. I like the older stuff they did more than the later stuff, but this song kicks ass for sure, i didn't know it was a cover, but they did many cover songs.
First band of hard n heavy genre, ivw seen live.together with german band victory as Support act.mid80s in essen Germany.was a fantasstic show.this is my fav song fom them
Thank god they re-made the song, the original one sounds like the singer was taking singing lessons as he recorded it, This is Pure rock right here.. The kind of stuff that shook and made bars, clubs, stripclubs, open house parties, private gigs and huge GW concerts rock!
Free Racer, Why don't you move to North Korea where you can be surrounded by the kind of government that you worship? Instead of bitching about conservatives..You can talk the talk but are to scared to walk the walk. Okay lets hear your best 3rd grade rant...
I saw them when I was 13, Once Bitten had just came out. Mark Kendall was excellent, he is definitely way under-rated. He was outside afterward signing autographs, was very cool, down to earth. Seemed like a shy, nice kind of dude.
Saw them open up for Ratt & Dio when all they had was an EP. Also this tour - opened up for Queensryche (Rage for Order) & AC/DC in Dallas TX. AWESOME show! Flash forward to L.A. years later at a tiny club, my girlfriend smoked a j with Jack outside. She had no idea who he was at the time. She does now & I have an eight year old daughter by her! Ah, good times!
yeah, a couple members went and did the HYDE thing. my husband was out of the band by then. my husband is mark stevens. and he played all over hollywood. jezebels, woodstock, radio city, cuckos nest, starlight ballroom.he was big back then.hung out with my favorite MOTLEY CRUE. too bad i was 10 yrs old. haha(and from michigan)

It is an Angel City song.

Not sure you can seriously "rate" a band based on a cover/copy of a music/lyrics created by another band. 😂😂😂
