Nannup, Western Australia

Nannup is a quiet town in the southwest of Western Australia, approx. 260kms south of Perth.
Tourist activities in and around Nannup include the half pay point for the Munda Biddi bike track, numerous mountain bike trails, horse riding trails, the Nannup Music Festival, the Forrest Rally, the Garden Festival.
Nannup is also home to bespoke art and craft, furniture makers and resident artists.
The main street boasts a brewery, a hotel, a bakery, several cafes and a range of gift shops to cater to your needs.
The Nannup caravan park is situated on the right hand side as you come into town. It's a quiet park with good sized bays for caravans, clean ablutions and a large camp kitchen.
Further afield, you'll find an abundance of tourist spots including the Tank 7 Lookout, Barrabup Pool, Worker's Pool, One Tree Bridge, Four Aces and Glenoran Pool.
The Nannup saw mill is still in operation today...I may have suggested that it has closed, but that was incorrect.
We had a great time in Nannup and I would highly recommend you spend some time in the area.

The water tanks are numbered so fire trucks know which tanks they are talking about when they need fill up in bush fires .
