What I would want: Returning: -A Double Dash mode -The ability to switch between items -R.O.B -An option to have the GCN/DS Mini-Turbo style -Anti-Grav -Fake Items (and no Coins as items) New: -Story Mode (and integrate Missions into it) -Custom Track maker (as long as it's more in depth than in Diddy Kong Racing DS)
so just dont mention how the cart selection is AWFUL in mario kart 8. like most of the karts only come in 1-3 different colors. not to mention the designs are just stupid like the sneaker. look at mario kart wii for example. great designs, different colors for each character. the fact mk8 dropped the ball so hard in this area makes me never want to play the game cause im just so disgusted by how lazy and effortlessly put together the kart selection is.
We need a Competely Better Roster than Mario kart 8 I mean if we have every charcter thats fine but if we get custoomes just make sure their with that charcter instead of having clone charcters
I personally think we don’t need so many characters since it will make the game too slow and some characters just are not popular and who wants pink gold peach in the game and the inverted blooper is a stupid idea, it would be too op since all lines would needed to be rethinked and I don’t want more racers, it would just make games performance be sluggish

There would be 4 rarities : - Common : The default skin. - Rare : The character with a different color but the same 3D model. - Epic : The character has a custom model and different colors. - Legendary : Custom model + custom animation like tricks animations Imagine having diddykong in a kimono and a bandana (headband) throwing shurikens in the air while tricking, that would be incredible This could work the same for karts, tires and glider I really want to have my own personal kart with my custom colors and not playing a meta that has no originality
They can include the Thundercloud item as long as it works like it does in the modded MKWii, whereas it gives you a mega mushroom instead of shrinking you. Also I prefer 24 players instead of 16 with consistent lock frame rate again from the modded version of MKWii.
I want a “Mario Kart Ultime”, (like Smash Ultime) with characters and tracks from many franchises playable. Imagine choosing Samus, Steve or Banjoo to race some Star Fox themed track just to get blue shelld by Ness. Obviously all that as DLCs while the base game will still be only Mario as usual.
I would love to see them push Mario Kart in a Smash Bros direction. They've already brought over characters from other games (Link, Animal Crossing Villager), more guest racers would be fantastic, especially if they paired them with themed courses.

There is one exception though, and that is if Nintendo added all of this it would probably be the final mario kart game

Something else we need for characters are costumes for example Penguin Luigi is a costume for Luigi and Sunshine Mario is a costume for Mario
