It’s funny when I watch some of your videos and you are in a very uninhabited area. I can almost smell the ocean on a beautiful clear day. Other days, like today, I smell the Hudson River at low tide.
Lemon beer - I wonder if it was from France my husband was from France and he like to put lemons in his beer. Or maybe it was just him. Hope the humidity lessened stay safe.
The castle was beautiful but too busy - but look at that moat - stunning! The car museum was more interesting than it first sounded - what an amazing collection! Japan has been so interesting I guess partly because we don't hear much about it as a tourist destination - I realise the stereotypipcal view I have of the country is wide of the mark - so thank you for educating me! Safe passage to Vietnam

What was that tree? You got up to it and stopped recording just as you came to the sign for it 😊, it was truly unique
It’s a good job that Zarko is tall & perhaps not quite so easy to lose in the crowd! The Japanese have developed a method called ‘cloud pruning’ for trees & I think that beautiful tree at the castle is an example of that. It was a craze for smaller trees in the UK for a while after someone saw one at Chelsea Flower Show.
