Honestly for Green Car service disruptive children shouldn't be allowed, train etiquette in Japan is to ride quietly as to not disturb other passengers, the parents and children should be restricted to the rearmost car, those parents should have had to pay every passenger in that car the extra fare for disturbing their ride.
@@gn7867 you know when I was a child a preacher was conducting services and came over the sound system informing the parents there was a nursery in the building where children could be placed during services, I kid you not, people want QUIET, AND THEY PAID FOR IT

Our son lives in Tokyo, and he and we have a close friend of his age in Osaka. Just about 2 months ago, when this video was made, we were in Tokyo and made this same trip to Osaka by ordinary Shinkansen, in order to visit our surrogate "son" and his family in Osaka. I am trying to recall how long it took nonstop from Shinegawa Station in Tokyo to Osaka. I think it was about 3 hours. Osaka has great food. We had a wonderful time. I recognize many of the locations in this video.
I love all your videos, but especially longer travel ones like this. I can really feel immersed for half an hour traveling with you! Hope you can make videos for a long time. 😊
Have you noticed how polished the Shinkansen trains are?? The Tessei/cleaning crew is amazing! They are PRETTY efficient. I left my bag upon getting off a Shinkansen train. Within 5 minutes it was on its way to the lost-and-found department of the station. Within 15 more minutes, I got my bag back from the lost-and-found office, exactly as it is.
That was such a relaxing video to watch. Gran Class looked so nice except for the crying baby. The views were spectacular. Very nicely filmed my friend 😊
In 2018, I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka, and on to Himeji. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was only in standard class, but I got an ekiben box with some food to bring on with me, and the staff on the train was wonderful. The whole ride was incredibly smooth, everything was quiet and respectful, and every inch of the train was clean. Very nice food and beverage was offered to buy as well. As an American, I so wish that our rail in the United States was like Japan’s. In comparison, ours is absolutely awful, dirty, and looks like it’s stuck in the early 1970’s, with no offerings whatsoever. The only other near equivalent I’ve ever experienced to the Shinkansen in Japan, is the ICE high speed rail in Germany, on the DB. It was almost equally as nice even in standard class.
