Hello Mr. Bobby, I'm a new viewer/subscriber. The video and adventure was amazing however, may I suggest that you lower the volume of the background music because it slightly ruins the sound of the wind/bike/cars passing. Sometimes, viewers like me, just wants to appreciate the beauty/the scenery of the places you pass by. Nonetheless, the transitions and the ride itself was amazing! Always ride safe sir.
Awesome ride man! You passed by my house in Monterey! I just rode from Monterey to Paso Robles down highway 1 through Big Sur. Epic ride but on the Z400 the wind gets rough. I was beat after 130 miles. Can't imagine 600. I would literally have to build up to that on the Z, and take breaks.
Yeah it was rough at some points for sure and I did take 6 or 7 stops along the way for gas, food, and to just stretch my legs lol I would recommend building up to it!
Haha 15:12 made me smile, nice video man! Quality of that GoPro 10 is pristine, your music and editing was smooth as well, I enjoyed your first few transitions 👍 Currently waiting to take my Ninja 400 out from winter storage this week up, I’m over on the North East side of the states. Also waiting on my new gear to come in Friday, your video and channel is the perfect thing to keep me sane while I wait lol, so thank you mate 🙏
Hahaha I always have to wave to other riders! Glad you’re enjoying the videos too! I’ll try and record some more stuff this week. Thanks for the support and stay safe in the riding season!
Thank you! I’ve lived in San Diego my whole life before I moved to Davis for school. The Ninja 400 is the perfect entry level bike! Good luck and thank you for the support!
Im looking into getting a ninja 400 base and my main concern about the bike was if it would make the 700 miles from delaware to Tennessee when i go for vacation after seeing this im only more exited for the experience
Shit I’ve made trips to texas and back with the things straight piped bc I took changed my muffler out one too many times. I’m still riding it with 13,500 miles and only basic maintenance. I daily drive it. Bikes underrated forsure. U got it.
Agreed! I’m around 140lbs and I can easily accelerate to 100mph to get out of close encounters. Haven’t tried a top speed, but I’d imagine I could easily hit 120mph.
@@BobbysBikes don't tell this is a secret but believe it or not my 220lbs ass has managed to hit 120 on my 400. i can easily get to 110-113, but i have to really push it to hit 119 and one time i did manage to see 120 for a fraction of a second
The trip im planning on taking when i get the 400 is from millsboro delaware to pigeon forge tn ive been before but unfortunately didnt have a bike to add to the experience
It was really fun! Would’ve been nicer with no traffic, but I don’t think there is any need to be scared. Just respect the speed limits in the corners if you are worried. Ride safe!
I think the rebel would have a more comfortable seating position for sure. I think it’d be better on a long ride than the ninja as long as you buy a windscreen for it. The highway winds are going to wear you down quick without one!
Yes my 2018 n400 has larger front and smaller rear sprocket with oem chain. No longer want to shift gears before clearing intersections. Cruises and accelerates happily at 75+mph with low revs. Still enough torque to ride 35-40 in 5th gear. Averaging 56mpg mixed riding. It does cause check eng light due to small speedometer change but jumpering the clutch start switch fixes that with no issue
I have the Kriega US-20 which has straps with hooks that mount to the frame of the bike under the rear seat. Then I can just hook my bag to the rear seat. I was also wearing a backpack in addition to this.
Hahahaha thanks! I rode 500 miles from Davis to LA in one day, but stopped a lot for food and gas. Did LA to SD on day two with no stops. My butt was definitely sore… probably replacing the seat if I decide to do another long trip!
@@BobbysBikes what about the bitrate settings? or what format for encoding? because the quality is sooo good! A lot of bike videos the road gets really pixelated, but yours is crystal clear. (or if you want to link a guide you followed or something lol)

I used to go to school in Davis and now I’m living in San Diego. I’m considering buying a ninja 400 as my first bike. This is a really good video 👍

@@BobbysBikeshow long have you been riding?
You’ve inspired me to take a trip down to San Diego on my 650 but I live closer so the trip won’t be as rough as yours lol
Hahahah I love it! Have a safe ride down and enjoy the gorgeous views.
At 1:56 that camera quality looks so damn good man! Keep up the great vids!
Thank you for the support! There is plenty more to come as the weather gets better.
8:22 i used to live on this road. riding at night was always really dangeorus because deer pop out at night

It is definitely capable! I would recommend changing the seat or adding some gel padding. My butt took a couple days to recover lol
@@BobbysBikes ergo seat.
Replace stock windscreen cause it's too small and the wind will be knocking you around everywhere at over 60Mph.
@@BobbysBikes you got any seat recommendations for replacement ??? I’m tryna see some good ones

I realize this is a year late to comment. I was wondering though, what is this 400 engine like at 75 mph on the highway? Do you find a buzzy?
Thinking about doing a 250 mile trip tomorrow but for a very good stretch there is no gas stations so I’m scared it won’t make it
Hey Bobby is your 400 a custom color I like the red sweet bike
The transition at 1:49 is lovely
Nice camera equipment and editing. That 400 has plenty of power on the highway.
Indeed it does! Sometimes I need to slow down since it's so easy to get there with this bike, and I weigh close to nothing.
Agreed! I’m around 140lbs and I can easily accelerate to 100mph to get out of close encounters. Haven’t tried a top speed, but I’d imagine I could easily hit 120mph.

400cc is only 10 mph faster than the R3? my R3 top speed is 109 mph, with a quite fat 180 pound human sitting on top

A bike will always make the experience much better! The ninja is very capable for road trips, definitely give it a shot!
What windscreen is that?
what would be the best age for a ninja 400 im 15 1/2 and rode dirtbikes my whole life
Is that an iPhone SE?
Yeah I use the 2nd gen SE lol it gets the job done
Bro, I'm your big fan bro and I like your every video bro 😊
Hey bro how was it driving through the 17? I live in the area and I’m a little nervous of going through there.

Dope! (From Folsom)
Nice video! what bag were you using? did your back or ass hurt?
It’s the Kriega US-30 drypack! And yes my ass did hurt for the next couple of days after this…
What camera did you use and how many times did you have to switch battery?
GoPro Hero 10. Went through about 8 batteries :)
@@BobbysBikes 😳🤣
How many times yu stopped for gas ?
Hey man, great video. I was wondering what gloves you had under the dainese?
Thank you! They are the AXIAL Block glove liners. Bought them from Revzilla for $15.
Would you recommend a rebel instead of a ninja for long rides?
I think the rebel would have a more comfortable seating position for sure. I think it’d be better on a long ride than the ninja as long as you buy a windscreen for it. The highway winds are going to wear you down quick without one!
@@BobbysBikes even with a helmet
@@thetruthisright6750 yea lol the helmet stops winds from hitting your skin but its still pushing your head back and the rest of your body
Yeah the wind will fatigue you. Also the wind noise… wear some good earplugs.
whats the tail bag u used
Kriega US-30 Drypack. No complaints with it and fit a week’s worth of clothes easily.
Your bike is bad ass 😍🙏
Thank you!

How did your first learn how to turn the ninja? It feels so heavy lmao

Any service issues with your Ninja? Just bought one...
Muito bom, eu também gravo com uma Ninja vermelha aqui no Brazil, muito bom seu canal
Does it have quickshifters?
No quickshifters, just a lot of muscle memory 😅

I would’ve just taken I5 😂
I wish v had more engine S then music
Rubber gloves like medical gloves under your bike gloves work with water and cold air if it cant touch your skin it cant effect you
The music really ruins the video man
