TMI, I finally took myself off my depression meds. Food tastes so much better. I'm trying out foods I never would have thought about trying. I'm roasting these now, but Lady, you are awesome. You're down to earth presentation, laughter, and just all around being made me say I love her!!. Not really, but you know 🙃 They're almost ready. Let's see if I'm adding something new to my taste buds.
I asked the staff @ Longhorn how they cook them - they literally just put them in the deep fryer, and then add a honey/butter seasoned ball that is pre-made - mix it together until the ball is melted and sprouts covered and serve.
If you smash the sprouts with a flat bottomed glass after pre-cooking them they get SUPER crispy. Get some Franks sweet chili sauce to dip them in or you can take the sprouts out 3min before done, add the sweet chili sauce and return to oven for the last 3min. 😋💖💛💚💙💜
Have made your recipe 3 times now, I could eat it everyday! Thanks for making the video. The last time I turned the broiler on for 2 minutes before taking them out, gave it a bit more crisp! Will continue to do that
OH. EM. GEE!!!! Im not a huge veggie fan, and I wasn't sure I'd like these. But I LOVE THEM!!! I could eat them every single day!!! Thanks so much for this!!!
Pro tip. Preheat the pan with the oven. Then place the sprouts flat side down it will get better char/chrisp on them. There is still a flavor missing, I think it may be the flavor of butter they use but still yummy!
Firstly, great job on the video! Your personality made the video a lot of fun to watch. The fit and finish of the video was also well done, add some music and I could see this being on a cooking channel. Keep making videos!
I love your personality you made the video fun and very insightful. Great recipe will be attempting this soon. I also just prescribed can't wait to see more insightful videos from your channel soon.
For sprouts or anything this big, halve or quarter them before blanching. A 5-min. blanch doesn't infiltrate 3-4 dense inches. Also, I prefer un-blanched, it just makes them soggy and takes more time for them to caramelize.
I love Brussels sprouts just steamed with butter & cheese. This is as delicious! P S. They aren't baby cabbages. They're a vegetable in their own right in the cabbage family.
I made the recipe and it was very delicious and very close to the Longhorn taste. My sauce did get very runnny once the hot sprouts got mixed in and thinned it all out. I might just drizzle next time onto the crispy sprouts.
Yes, and whether you cook them and put a sauce on them or put nothing on them, they are still insanely delicious. I personally would not put a parchment on the pan, heat the pan in the oven while it is heating, and cook the sprouts cut side down in olive oil until they get nice and brown, then toss them in the sauce or just drizzle it on each portion if you want less. Not using the parchment will make the pan a bit harder to clean, but it will allow your sprouts to brown. Harder cleaning is a small price to pay for the flavor you'll get. Just my .02 cents.
Shes asking for pot companies to offer her pots and she can make advertisements for them at the same time. She's not begging from viewers to give her pots..

Deep fried????
@@latoshiaturner4686IKR, or air fryer?
Wow gtfoh I really thought I'd be able to find the recipe online somewhere and now you're telling me not even the staff know what's in it😮💨😮💨
well not everybody has a deep fryer - this is a good way to make them at home.
@billbollinger6191 they told me the exact same thing
I LOVE brussel sprouts!!

I think Longhorn does that because their sprouts are quite a bit darker than Heather's.
Yes.”.Thank you
Thank you!!! Yes!!! I agree 👍

aw love that!
I just made these tonight, and they turned out great! The cooking method for the sprouts was a huge boost compared to how I used to make them.
Yes My first time trying them at longhorn. 2 days ago and I came home and brought some.❤❤❤❤
I love the energy that you project while filming. It makes things interesting
I use to work at longhorns and ima say this is not how they make there the brussels sprouts at all
OH. EM. GEE!!!! Im not a huge veggie fan, and I wasn't sure I'd like these. But I LOVE THEM!!! I could eat them every single day!!! Thanks so much for this!!!

That's a great tip thanks!
Yes and skip the blanch I think it unnecessary
I like mine cut facing up, lol different strokes
Are you using a cast iron pan? Mine cool off within a minute or so when I pull them out of the oven.
Cummin
I cooked the recipe and it was excellent! Everyone liked it! Thanks for the recipe.

Such a refreshing presentation! Great recipe and even better presenter! Lol! Liked and dubbed immediately! Hi from Newfoundland!
Simple and delicious! Thank you!
Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil and add Brussels sprouts. Turn heat to simmer and simmer sprouts for 4 minutes.
Cool them and cut smaller
Add olive oil, salt,
Melt butter, honey, syrup, paprika, pepper, etc.
These Brussel sprouts are DELICIOUS
glad you liked them!
You are so funny and relatable.
Those Brussel sprouts are delicious 🎉

Someone get this lovely lady her new pans!
Love it you're great
Game changer!
thanks!!!!
Wow! New sub here! I recently made Steak Kabobs on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected! 😀
I'd put it back under the broiler for a few min to crisp it .
Nice kitchen
Shout out heb
How bout their potatoes they go hand n hand
Another chopping tip.
End grain cutting boards are easier on knives edges
I had some from longhorn and they were awful, burnt and overcooked
They look everything except crispy
Are you single?🤗🥰
Looks like a treat recipe. Disgusting how she shovels them in though.
Lies..NO MATTER WHAT U PUT ON A BRUSSEL SPROUT, YOU KNOW ITS A BRUSSEL SPROUT
😂

Pretty tacky to be begging for pots from the viewers. Im sure you can afford them. 🙄
Shes asking for pot companies to offer her pots and she can make advertisements for them at the same time. She's not begging from viewers to give her pots..
This is not how longhorns makes there brussels sprouts I should know I use to work there and prepare them everyday
good for you - i'm not using a deep fryer so i adjusted but the taste is there.
I saw that you made this exact comment on another video which makes me want to try this recipe 😂
Please tell us how they are made...Longhorn way.
