@Eros Sinema It's even sadder you can't read properly. I said "Brussel sprouts". My folks are Italian and made food that would put a 5 star restaurant to shame. Didn't matter though.... I always hated brussel sprouts. Still hate cabbage. Don't care how you make it.

Hey Chef, I like you occasionally forget things (I am 72) in the recipe and I forgot to add the lemon zest. I made them last night, Sunday, 8 September 2024 and they were delicious. This morning, I realized I forgot the zest, so I added it now, warmed them all up and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! They were all the more delicious. I used agave syrup and balsamic vinegrette too with the bacon, shallots, and I used a vidalia onion with 2 sliced carrots. So good and yummy.
My wife of 50 years is not with me as she has Dementia of the Alzheimer's type and is in a memory care facility. I am cooking for myself and I enjoy doing so. Thank you for being my guide to a road of great meals.

I grew up watching so many cooking shows as long as I can remember. The FoodNetwork channel was always on the family TV and I continued watching cooking shows as I got older and I watched so many chefs and personalities. But I can say with all honestly that Chef Jean-Pierre is the best and my absolute favorite. He is the only chef that has motivated me to actually want to cook and try all sorts of recipes and even just experiment. I've cooked recipes that I would have never thought I would because of this wonderful man. Even how he talks and how comforting he is in all his videos really shows he cares and loves this craft. Cooking is really a passion for him and he makes me passionate about it too. I even just have his videos playing in the background while I'm cooking even though I will be cooking something else! Just even hearing his voice makes me love cooking. Chef Jean-Pierre is a National Treasure! Thank you for all that you do and the passion that you put into all your videos. ❤

I personally love Brussel Sprouts, but I am used to saute them with an onion and then add the water with a herb stock to boil till the sprouts are ready and it just brings out all the best flavours of the srpouts

I just love Brussel sprouts! I went through a phase of roasting them in the oven and you’re right. They get burnt. Now I just boil them first for a few minutes and then sauté them and load them with butter! I’ll have to try this recipe! It looks very delicious! Thank you once again Chef!🤗

My least favorite food is now my favorite food. Chef Jean-Pierre always talks about people hating mushrooms; which are my favorite. Brussel sprouts have been my least, if not worst vegetable to eat, since childhood. However, Chef Jean-Pierre with his infectious persona always makes his food delectable and flavorful. As long as he makes me laugh, I'm cooking his way. I love these brussel sprouts

Did we forget the butter? Or was that just there because it’s butter and it should be out? 😂

I've always been taught to do this is in one pan. First the bacon, take the crunchy bits out, in the brussel sprouts go to brown them with a little onion. Once the onion and brussel sprouts are browned enough I pour in some chicken broth and let them simmer until the chicken broth boils out and the brussel sprouts are softened. Then I add the bacon back in and serve.

When Brussel sprouts are cooked properly, they will slide right out of the pan and into the trash.

Well Chef Jean Pierre, I made two of your recipes today. I made the honey garlic chicken stir fry, which was amazing. I also made your Brussel Sprouts with bacon, unbelievable. Actually, I made three recipes. I also made clarified butter for the stir fry. You are the best! Thanks for sharing so many of your outstanding recipes with us.
