These Maui classes are so special for me Sherryl. They represent the first flowerings of so much work. Including getting up at 3am to record the voice overs. And most importantly they remind me of my beloved Maui❣️ This was also a time of Geetaji immersion. The deep study of her teachings led to unprecedented awakenings and understandings. Hi Cat, I am recovering well from my post asthma attack with your advice. Glad to inform you that I could do most of the asanas in this video with props. The Restoration Heart and lungs practice was a wonderful video. It is gentle yet an excellent anterior chest opener and it helped reduced the tightness in my intercostal muscles. Just lying on the bolster has improved my breathing. I am regularly sharing my progress with you..eagerly waiting to hear from you. Thanks Preeti

i came across your channel tonight and I fell in love with your soothing voice and perfect pace, I loved it so much that I did two of your classes back to back! I normally don't do Iyengar classes, but I subscribed to your channel, and I will come back for more classes for sure. Thank you so much! one thing though, my knees bother me so I can't do the hero pose or any poses with my legs folded completely. :(

As for the knees ... of course never to be forced! but blankets can really help this issue for some people. In the meantime am including a link to a knee class that you might enjoy. No folding of legs required in this one. It's about knee awareness in standing poses using the wall for the front foot. Perhaps there will be something interesting in it for you. Is this a series? Or a one-off class? I was ok until Urdhva Mukha Svanasana - I had a lower back injury a long time ago and I swear the lower back muscles keep a memory of how I hurt it (which was an acculumation of things; but the last straw was turning onto my front sitting in bed with a laptop), and the movement was similar to this dipping the back to get into urdhva mukha movement. Will I just never be able to do this move/esp when its done as a flow movement again? Thanks for your last comment.
Hello Radha ☀️ This is a one-off class. It might be a little too intense for your vehicle right now but the good news is that - with time and practice - it won't be! I think it would be really positive to focus on the Beginners Course which builds fantastic strength in the core and legs. Once this is established we can begin to access the back.
