Had a 98 powder special that was done to the nuts... remember whenever I rolled it down the mountain counting "ONE THOUSAND, TWO THOUSAND, THREE THOUSAND... AS IT WENT DOWN THE MOUNTAIN "... ride on Saturday, Sunday... then wrench Monday to Friday.... repeat.... those were the good old days...lol.. Great vid... its awesome to see the old iron still going.. From my overtaxed, slightly lob-sided, finally frozen igloo on the mountain in alberta Canada 🇨🇦 D.
@@chancemainsmcbride is the only place I ride. People there are absolutely awesome. If you know the areas, you can ride 7 days a week all winter and never run out of snow. Feel bad for the folks there. With the snow conditions, and an issue with one of their riding areas out of commission due to a bridge collapse, not many sled sets have been coming through, which is their main money maker for the year. People there say they’ve been short 10 mil in revenue in the town the last couple years compared to normal. Hopefully they recover before the town shuts down. Mcbride is truly a hidden gem
@jefffedorvich9423 I lived there until I was 5 and grew up in prince george, spending ever single weekend and every second summer there until I was a teen. My aunty and uncle still live there and it's sad to see the place dry up. It really.feels like home when I'm in Mc Bride
Please keep making these old iron videos! Between the sleds and all the goodies on em to the outfits and roll overs down hill, I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
I remember when I was a kid and used to drool over crazy mountain xtreme sleds and how I couldn't believe some were 20k plus. Brings back good memories
I would trade my kidney, or any other organ, just to be there and see all these sleds in action. Best youtube video at the moment. Just awesome. And podcast also was really good.
I have two Rotax Jaws 925 triples sitting in boxes, I am looking to find the right Baker mountain tamer chassis come up on the used market to put one in. Fun times await. Please tell me our old sleds were not really that bad!
sorry but this is kind of BS only Polaris? Of course because of a nda CB cannot say that back when these sleds were ripping it up he was on a Arctic Cat,
Pretty sure he mentioned that there was a T cat tripple. And, there is a cmx in this video. Also, if you disagree with the lack of diversity go change it, these are a bunch of riders that picked sleds they want to ride, they don’t have to conform to what others want to see.
We welcome all people and all makes and models. And I’m really not sure what you are talking about anyways. There was a Cat and Yamaha in the video 🤷♂️
@@ChrisBurandt haters gonna hate I guess, too focused on your sponsorship from Polaris and not focused enough on your passion for the sport. These sleds have soul and some people unfortunately don’t recognize it.
Minus the gnarly jumps from back then,I feel like I’m watching an early 2000s SLDNX video and I’m here for it!! The era of the see through hoods!
I had the exact same thought and I loved it. Just from the intro I could tell where it took inspiration from. Slednecks 4 baby!!!!
I miss the big sends. It's what got me into racing sno cross. This is good as well, though.
Can't understand why there aren't 500,000 views. Awesome show

Thank for taking me back to the best years of my life . Tired iron but back in the day we thought we were riding the latest Boost 850.
man this is so cool, so many badass sleds from when I was starting into sleds. The triples, CMX, RX1, IQR... wild to see them be old iron now.
Love them old iron vids ...You should do old iron builds break down where you get parts and tips and tricks on install😎
Literally an early 2000’s sledneck film in 2024 and I’m here for it! So awesome!

I came home with a gnarly vmax 4 big bore mod sled!
I grew up seeing guys with some of these sleds doing what back then was the craziest stuff on the snow, good to them keeping up still 🤘🏻
I absolutely love these yearly episodes of greasy tripples. Never cease making them please.
Thanks for tuning in!
HOLY SHIT that was awesome! Watching this as I wrench on my '91 RXL SKS, so pumped.

Love those triples. I had a 94 xlt and a 96 ultra. No mistaking that 680 sound
Never.. They sing a tune of there own. Not to be matched 💪🎵🎵🎵
I built that IQR….. glad to it’s still out there.
That would be mine..when did you own it? Its quite a bit different since i even bought it
I actually owned it after you and did even more modifications..

I don't know if these guys do anything that's worth a shit in real life, but they sure can ride. Very entertaining video.
This releases 1 day before the bung bung vintage annual ride in mcbride bc
Need more info on that sweet Ultra.
1996 97 98, summit 670, would be my old iron. 2000 700 144 was where i was headed and never continued, miss sledding.
Perfect amount of snow for them.
Love those wedge chassis
This video must be filmed quite a while ago but recently uploaded?
We shot it the end of last season!

Not sure I'd call a sled with an A-arm front end "Old Iron". The rest of the sleds are super cool though.
I think it is, that chassis is getting old
I mean its a 05, thats 20 years old this year 🤷♂️
Yeah we can't call those old iron just yet haha
@@2sleds1summit I think 20 years classifies it as old iron in the sled world

When all the young'ns realize how easy new sleds really make riding in general now days. Those old sleds were a handful and a half on a good day!! 🤣
This makes me want to start a project that I have been tossing around
😮 Bad ASS!!!!
Hell ya i can't wait i love the old iron videos 🎉

Giving early 2000s boondockers vibes
